The room is very tastefully furnished but the fancy lamps take up all the space on the nightstands. There is hardly a place to put down a book and a hairbrush. The bathroom literally had no place to put anything at all. Shelves are supposedly coming. We couldn't leave the drapes open because the house across the street would be able to see in. The breakfast was fine but not memorable. No home baked goodies like some B&B's. The steep street turned out not to be a noise issue which was a blessing. I would stay at a hotel downtown like I did another night that week.

Room Tip: Ask if they have gotten any shelves for the bathrooms before booking.

The Chalet was a fantastic place to stay. it was a 5 minute walk into the main city centre and is still far enough away from all the city noise. The rooms where very comfy and the beds where the best thing i have slept on in ages. Alex the host was fantastic he took our bags up to the rooms and even got up early to make us breakfast as we had a tour at 7am one morning which he didn't have to do. Alex was also a wealth of knowledge and helped us out with any information we required The chalet also came with free internet. I would highly recommend anyone to stay at the chalet it was a home away from home. When i go back next i will be staying there again.

I stayed two nights at the Queenstown Chalet.
This is a very good accomodation closed to the city center(5-7 minutes to go there a more than 10 minutes back).
Alex is very convivial host and do not hesistate to advise you if needed.
The breakast is very good.
I really enjoyed the stay.
