Nice comfortable room stayed here when my friend played in a poker tourney beds we very cosy and had a gr8 sleep stayed for 2 nights they all so have a restaurant downstairs but we didn't have dinner there as we spent most of our time out touring.

The Hotel couold not be in a better location for Queenstown. Extreamly central and easy to find. Good Valet parking. The room was good with lakeside views. The staff were excellent, especially Aishley, who went above and beyond setting up the room for us.
The only negative was the lift had a very bad smell which was not great, we used the stairs instead.

Thanks for your positive comments - I am sorry that the left had an odour - that is very strange and unusual so not sure if some thing had been spilt or transported in the lift at the time that you were using it but I have not had similar comments so can only assume that this was a one off issue.

Thanks to the team at the Novotel for an amazing relaxing night away!!
We were greeted by a friendly welcome at the reception desk our room was cleaned to perfection great size to!
Audrey in the House Bar was very welcoming and had a great attitude about her.. please pass this onto her we were really impressed!
Had to wait a wee while to get service in the restaurant but the food was amazing.. couldn't fault it at all!
We definitely recommend this hotel and we will be back!

When we checked in at the hotel we request for a king bed for our parents, I was shocked when the receptionist said that this means paying extra to have one large bed instead of twin beds! This is considered to be an UPGRADE! The receptiesnt insist that this is the HOTEL POLICY so I request a copy of it, he failed to provide that poicly therefore I asked for the duty manager to clarify, who solve the problem and provide us with the room with not extra charges!!! If you don’t know your rights you will end up paying extra for everything. BE CAREFULL!

Location was perfect, breakfast was great and beds were very comfortable!

I am sorry for any confusion around room types that you may have encountered - It would appear that our explanation to you was not clear and I am sorry if this was the case.

The room types available to book are clearly listed on our website and and any other on line booking source - we have several room types available - some have 2 double beds, some have a queen sized bed only and some have a king sized bed - they also have different views and aspects and as such they are slightly different prices. So it was not so much the fact that a different bed type is classed as an upgrade but that there is differing prices for the different room types. Our suggestion is to book the type that you want rather than a cheaper room type and then request something different as that is not always possible to achieve. We do sometimes have agents that book the cheapest without considering the comfort of their guests.
