My only dissapointment about this stunning hotel is that I only stayed 1 night. Perfect hosts, location & room was immaculate.... Walking distance to the centre of queenstown & would highly recommend it as a place to stay.

The manager of this lovely hotel upgraded us on arrival and it was great to have a fantastic bath instead of just a shower after a three day trek in the mountains. The staff were really friendly and helpful. We had rung the hotel before we set off on our trek in fjordland and asked if they could make some bookings for us. When we arrived they had fulfilled our request perfectly. Our room was luxurious and quirky with electric blinds and an amazing mirror that revolved to reveal the television. Our huge picture window looked over a big park. It was easy to walk into Queenstown and to the Skyline. The cooked breakfasts were particularly good. We made the mistake of sending some of our washing to the hotel laundry - a pit pricey!

This hotel is perfectely located next to a park, close to the gondola station and the center. John is a perfect host. He receives you on first name basis with a handshake, before giving you a full brief on house, room and the town, with interest for your personal gusto. Even without knowing your schedule, he will keep an eye on flight interruptions to make sure his hosts will safely get out. This is exactly the kind of value added that the exacting customer may aspire to.

We had room 11 which was perfect with its park view from a comfortable bed. Very nice the free standing bath in an extension, seperate from anything more down to earth. The elevator from the underground parking was just nearby. The perfect stay - hope to make it once more!

We stayed in the tower suite for 3 nights and loved the rooms, but what really makes the hotel is the staff. They were awesome. I was traveling with my wife's parents who are not big meat eaters. They recommended 3 different restaurants that were fish predominately, made reservations for us, and the food was wonderful.

They sent us on an awesome little hike called Bob's cove that was one of the highlights of our trip and was in no guidebooks.

The only downside that i can see is the hotel seems to be on the route a lot of people take too and from the bars in town. i woke once or twice to people talking loudly/drunkenly as they headed home. I am a light sleeper though.

While the suite had cooking facilities, we had breakfast on the last day in their little cafe and all of us were blown away by the food.

highly recommend, worth every penny

Our daughter stayed here with her husband two years ago and recommended this wonderful hotel to us. So glad we stayed here as the location is great and John,Donna and staff have such a good knowledge of Queenstown and were always available to make recommendations for restaurants and trips. Great rooms with gorgeous bathrooms too.

This hotel is excellent due to the quality of its staff and its rooms. Our large Remarkables room (named for their view towards the Remarkables mountain range) had all facilities required. The staff were helpfulness personified and the location - for us - was perfect: a five minute stroll to Queenstown's lively centre, the same to the nearby mountain chairlift anf far enough from both to ensure a silent night's sleep.
Whilst only breakfast (excellent) is available the ever helpful staff will advise and book your restaurant.

Dear John and Donna,

Many thanks for making our honeymoon stay one to remember! Your service, attention to detail, and local advice was amazing! We both loved every minute of our stay and especially loved the afternoon drinks and canapes!

We will definitely be back.
