We spent a weekend here, and it was a pleasant stay. The room and breakfast were ok. The room was quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was sufficient (cereals, juice, eggs to order, breads, jams, etc) with friendly service, and not rushed or crowded.

Pre booked this hotel for an overnight stay after returning from Tamworth. Tariff was reasonable which was inclusive of breakfast. What can I say, but wow, what a beautiful place. Has been undergoing renovations for a couple of years. It is a beautiful building dating back to the 1830's and has been used over the years as a college, orphanage, school and residence before becoming accommodation for travellers. Our room was beautiful and had a nice view over neighbouring paddocks. There were some really nice sitting areas with nice furniture, beautiful light fittings. The restaurant was nice and served breakfast and dinner. Breakfast was continental but you could order hot food, such as bacon and eggs, for no extra cost .Staff were excellent. All in all, we had a good stay. Thank you.

I stayed here for 2 nights. The room was clean and tidy. It looked like it had been recently refurbished. I had room service both nights. Service was good and the food was beautiful. I will definitely stay here again.

Had the opportunity of staying at the Monte Pio when attending a conference. The room I had was very well appointed. The bed was very comfortable and I had a good nights sleep. The meal at the conference was very nice with no complaints at all about the service or food. The receptionist was very helpful on my departure. I would recommend a stay at the Monte Pio. Being a converted Convent there is also the history surrounding this acommodation.
