The hotel is opposite the old Civic Station and close to the museum, the bus stop (connecting bus from the Sydney train) is about 250 metres away. May be a little difficult with heavy luggage - I found it find with a wheeling case.
The building and facilities are all really new. My one bedroom apartment was very spacious and it was east-facing (Room 405), beautiful spring breeze always available through the balcony doors! The only thing I'd say about the east-facing rooms is that you get sun right in your face at the crack of dawn if you don't pull down your blinds the night before.
Balcony is nice and big, no noise pollution from other rooms, and the major roads are all fall enough away for it to be a very quiet area to be staying in. Nice view of the winery from my balcony.
The wifi was fast, free and unlimited and I watched a lot of netflix. Very hard to find a hotel with excellent wifi - so very, very happy with this place and it's one of the reasons it got 5 stars.
The only drawback is the closest supermarket is a good 15-20 minute walk away. That was a little annoying. Although if you have a car (and there's lots of parking nearby this place) it wouldn't be an issue.
All in all, an excellent stay and I highly recommend this place.More
