Stayed a few nights on business trip and I have no complaints. Plenty of parking the staff are very friendly and the breakfast very good, spoilt for choice. I always try and book through Ibis when in Newcastle.

I arrived quite bedraggled, busting and impatient.
The lady who greeted me was very cheerful, helpful and kind. We turned up early, so she arranged to get our rooms cleaned immediately.
The room was clean and had all the basics.
On the Saturday we found some great places very close by, a piano shop, an art gallery and a great little pub.
The one thing I didn't love was the proximity to some pretty seedy places. I took my preschooler for a walk early on a Sunday and found the drug clinic queue and the brothel. But that's city life I guess.

Comes up as pet friendly when you search via Expedia. Very frustrating. Waste of time .
Seeing there is s shortage of good pet friendly places and certainly a high demand for pet lovers to take their pets, australua should follow Europe and England. Good hotels , definately 4/5 star that allow small indoor digs at least

Everything was great but the room smelt a little of smoke. I did mention this to staff, my friend also thought the same.
The staff were nice and the location was fabulous, I would stay there again but on a different floor so the smell of smoke isnt present.
