If your not concerned about cleanliness or comfort by all means go for it but I’ll never ever go back ..the place was an absolute mess and the communication was like dealing with children....what was suppose to be a great weekend away turned out to be disaster..and please don’t go off photos there not even close
Rooms dirty, carpet and walls dirty would not recommend........ we stayed in threes bedroom apartment nothing like the photos do yourself a favour and look elsewhere....... staff at pub rude and would not give us a table when we arrived even though the pub was empty had to Order take out when I went to pick up they said we could eat in really unorganized ...... I can not stress how dirty the bathrooms were the blinds have never been wiped over and the dirt in the shower made y feel dirty .......... don’t do it
On checkout showed reception photos/video of mouldy bathroom and used dental floss on floor, cobwebs on walls of room. I was told to send email with the photos, which i did. I have not received any acknowledgement.
Having had to book everything in the Hunter because of Covid, we expected Harrigans Irish Pub to be of similar ilk to Harrigans Irish Pub in Harrington on the coast of NSW. We were wrong, it was terrible and nothing like its sister hotel The unfriendly young staff with little experience, tables wobbly and having to walk through the toilet foyer to order your food was poor! The meal itself was Hunter Valley prices with poorly presented frozen chicken schnitzels and a soft old salad from the day before, with no daily specials, we couldnt wait to get out of there! The management and all staff need to go to the sister hotel in Harrington and learn something about hospitality and food quality stat! Will never return and will tell as many people to avoid this for sure!
Went for lunch, as a coeliac there wasn’t very many GF options which was disappointing. Meals were smaller than I thought for the price however were very yummy. Overall good experience, will be back & hopefully they can improve their menu a little bit.
