I happily stayed in "The Loft" for 10 days (escape from the city) and used it as a base for enjoying the delights of the wine district. I has a kitchenette, is spacious, and has A/C and excellent wifi. Highly recommended.

Highly recommend Pokolbin Village accommodation.
Close walking distance to Lisa Mcquigan wines, Pokolbin distillery, Blaxland inn and Hope Estate.
Very central to a lot of wineries around the Hunter Valley.
The deluxe Queen Suite was clean, spacious and comfortable.
We will be back!

Stayed one night so we could travel around and try some wineries. Room was clean, tidy and aircon good. Room was well equipped and nice selection of tea, coffee, milk along with nice toiletries in the bathroom. Staff on reception really helpful and the shops at the village were excellent, grocery store, wine, chocolate, cheese and a great place for breakfast. Guy in the grocery store gave us some names of great wineries to try and they were excellent. Will definitely stay here again if we are ever in the Hunter valley again.

Location is fantastic and staff very helpful and pleasant. I stayed in a room facing pool that needs attention to be rated 3star & is not close to a 4 star. Disapointed in what i paid and expected far more luxurious offer based on website photos. Needs to be totally gutted with full reno.

This place is pretty central to the winery’s. Room was spacious and clean. The pool clean. There is plenty of little shops close by, they do close early but Cessnock isn’t too far if you have a car. Only negative I would say is that the air con is in the lounge room right at the front of the room and the furthest away from the bedroom. We stayed when it was 40 degrees, although there was a ceiling fan in the bedroom, it still took a long time to cool the bedroom.

The room we stayed in was a nice size, clean and comfortable. We were actually upgraded and we appreciated that. However the room had a couple of defects. The ceiling fans don’t work. The one window doesn’t open. And the front sliding door was wonky. But it’s a well located premise, and at the same location there is a convenience store, restaurant and bottle shop. The price is also good.
