The craft center caters to many different craft groups. They also sell a large variety of craft items at two locations. There is a coffee shop for those who need a nice coffee and cake while looking at the crafts on sale

Only open for morning and afternoon teas and lunches, this is a good cheap alternative for lunch. Most expensive item is $6.50. You can wander through the Craft Cottage as well which is a real bonus. Lovely art work on the wall.

Had a great coffee and fresh homemade custard slice... Then had a stroll around the craft gallery. Lots of really nice well made and interesting things and best of all well priced for the amount of work involved. It is a working gallery with craft classes being run while we were there.

Excellent small craft shop and cafe. The craft is all hand made and genuine high quality. You can see the craftspeople have extended their repertoire by the type of work presented e.g. the bobbin lace work draws from many different countries, levels of intracacy and ability, not only restricted to white cotton. Classes seem to be available for most crafts. The cafe is a bit ordinary but don't let that put you off - the craft quality is as good or better than you will see anywhere. Parking is a bit restrictive if it is a busy day at the nearby hospital or there is a workshop on.

Set on the corner of an intersection, the Craft Cottage is absolutely chock full of delightful and colourful handmade arts and crafts. Cards and artwork, jam, embroidery, handmade jewellery, sewing, soft knitted blankets and beanies in pretty colours. There are even delicate baby items if you're looking for that something extra-special as a gift. Pet rocks can also be adopted for a small fee. Cafe adjoining. Car park at rear.
