Hubby & I dined here last night and wow we were so pleased we did. Service fab friendly and very informative about the food when we told him that we had never had Nepalese before. We went with his recommendations of chicken and goat - so tasty and abs delicious! Can't wait to get back!

Thank Helen E

Shared a banquet with friends and got to taste so many dishes - all the curries were excellent The entrée had samplings of a curry puff, salmon & a dim sim - all very delicious.
The restaurant is set in an old house - the tables were easy enough to access but it was quite noisy.

we have been many times , staff are friendly , food is very good and always consistent , small but comfortable, if very busy can get a litttle noisy, , if you haven't been it is well worth a try.

This is the first time we have dined in a Nepalese restaurant, and we were certainly not disappointed. A very warm welcome was afforded us as we arrived around 6.00 pm, when already there were diners at some of the tables. Authentic Nepali decor without being contrived and politeness personified without being obsequious. There was a good range of dishes available and clear explanations of what each meant. Knowing the usual generosity of servings from the Indian sub-continent, we chose to share our dishes, opting for the buffalo (which we hadn't eaten since living in India fifty years ago!), along with plain rice, roti, dahl and spicy potatoes. Came away deeply satisfied without feeling overfull! Well done, Kathmandu - we'll go for Nepalese cuisine again - when we can find some in Christchurch!
