The Restaurant is on high street and as we passed it we decided to try it out. We liked it. Very friendly and helpful staff. We had the Chicken Jalfrezzi, the beef curry and kulfi / pistachio. The meals arrived in a reasonable time and tasted fantastic. The Take away section seemed to be very popular. The total cost was less than what we expected. We will definitely have another go if we are in the area again.

staff seemed nice but the food was ordinary. ordered full strength beer & received light beer. pointed this out to waitperson who then got the drinks menu & I pointed out that beer brand was offered as full strength & light. waitperson offered the beer for nothing but i declined. if it isn't available perhaps they should redo the drinks menu or strike it out. i kn ow they have a writing device as they have crossed out a few dishes on the menu. tandoori mushrooms were nice, mutter paneer was ok but the paneer was hard. a sure sign it wasn't fresh. garlic naan was ok. the saffron rice was also ok but a very small serve. we had to order more rice & another garlic naan. based on the meal I wouldn't go again.

This restaurant serves up a wide-ranging menu of delicious Indian food. The only issue is that, on some nights, it seems that the quality of the meals depends on who is the chef on any given night. I have never had a really bad meal, but if you are a genuine lover of good Indian food, you might consider this a case of Bengali-roulette.

We stumbled on this restaurant during a recent trip to Echuca and although it was a very quiet night (actually we were the only people in the place), they do seem to have a steady take-away trade, which is a good sign. The food was tasty - chicken tikka entree was very succulent - and our main, lamb vindaloo, was nice and spicy. The lamb was nicely flaky, although it would have been nice if there was a bit more of it.
We'd certainly eat there again if we visit Echuca and I wish the owners well in their endeavours.
