We spent a week and a half on Maafushi, and ate just about every evening meal at Arena Beach and never got bored with it.

They offer a dinner buffet for $12 USD. The dishes change each night but they always had a Grill station, and a "Live Action" station where you could get something cooked to order. There is a variety of foods from different cuisines to choose from, and a small selection of desserts.

The tables themselves are among the palm trees, on the beach, overlooking the ocean - you couldn't ask for a better setting. The staff were very friendly and attentive.

After finding this restaurant there was no where else we wanted to go. They offer a varied buffet for $12.00 starting at 6:30pm. There is island and western items. They have "live action" cooking-vegetable tempura, corn fritters or pasta. There was always fruit, salads and BBQ items. The staff were amazing. We were a large group and after finding out how long we would be on the island they always kept our tables together. They also kept peanuts off the buffet for us. And when they saw us coming they knew to grab the highchairs. You get to eat on the beach with the pounding surf and palm trees swaying. Although all the waitstaff were great, Ethel was our guy-so friendly and on the spot. Would highly recommend this restaurant!

We were in Maafishi for a little over a week, and Arena Beach became our go-to for dinner. A new buffet every night ensures you never get bored of the food. Also at 12$ it is very reasonably priced (especially for what you get).

I suffer from a life threatening peanut allergy and they might be the most accommodating restaurant I have ever been too. They always ensured the food was safe, and they even removed peanuts from the menu since they knew I was coming (I did not ask for this, they just cares that much).

The food is also varied enough it pleases everyone. Kids and adults, western and traditional food, spicy and non spicy.

Eat here, you won't regret it.

Varied buffet menu. Some nights more appealing than others. Wifi worked some nights and not others. Not the cheapest but it won't break the bank. Drinks extra. Service efficient and friendly. Popular spot and close to full most nights. Food refilled quickly. Go on a night you have a big appetite to get your money's worth. On the opposite edge of the island to the prison just around from the tourist beach.

I ate here for lunch to try it out as I read good reviews and I was so satisfied with my grilled fish that I came back for their dinner buffet. It was a good buffet for a cheap price of $10. From then on did not looked for other places anymore and ate here for the rest of my stay as they have different menu every night. The staff were fabulous, Jerry was really friendly as well as Ron and Ethel. It is delightful to see them at dinner as they are always cheerful and helpful. The service that they provided was really awesome!
I highly recommend this place. They also have a hotel which is in a very good location and I will consider staying there next time.
