This is a very established estate that also provide a good dining experience with Australian/Asian fusion food. A full course lunch will set you back by $100; coupled with wine pairing another $82. When we were there, more than half of the patrons were Asians with young children and was somewhat noisy. A good number of the service staff were Asians, including one from Japan. The restaurant is certainly on the international tourist map as you need to make advance reservation even on a week day to secure a table. It was full when we were there.

The restaurant and tasting room at Leeuwin tick all the boxes for a winery lunch. Great staff who are very knowledgeable about the wines, food and history of the venue. The food is superb, very seasonal. Have the Busselton squid or the beautifully cooked duck if you can and save some room for the Blondie (white chocolate brownie) for dessert. Great options with museum wines offered here. Wine buffs will know this but see your way to trying a museum release Arts Series wine as the age highlights the brilliance of the wine and amazingly some are available by the glass. Finally the setting overlooking the private stand of Karri trees completes the experience.

Just the best wine tasting experience - in wonderful surroundings - thank you so much Jamie, we learnt so much about Leeuwin. Oh my....who would have ever thought I'd go back to drinking Chardonnay. Leeuwin to Chardonnay now, is like Cloudy Bay to sav blanc.
Will have to come back to do a food/wine experience.
Very highly recommended tasting.

Went for lunch with two families of 4 (kids aged 4,5,6,8). Staff were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable (Gilli). The food was absolutely amazing, it was hard to choose off the menu as everything sounded so good. We all eventually chose the wine flight food paring as a starter and didn't disappoint. Mains were also outstanding.
Wines matched up to the food quality and highly recommend visiting. If you have the time indulge in the degustation menu.
Highlight of our week in the region.
Kids can play out on the huge grass area below the restaurant. They are in the process of moving their tasting area downstairs and make it a little more child friendly.
