This place is great to cool down the engine. Surrounded by nature, with plenty of walking grounds and grren fields. The interior of the hotel is also great place to disconnect from daily rush. Old library and other rooms will take you to the other reality and help reflect on the important aspects of the what matters in life. Swimming pool is with the warm water and the entire spa aera is cozy and not artifically modern. Great for the overall relax. Once you are about more active form of leisue there is an addenture park in the woods where you can walk the lines between the trees.
From a practical point of view the room and bathrom was large and clean, bed comfortable.
The restaurant offers fine dining experience for the reasonable price.
Some complain on the weak WiFi - it works well in the main building and elsewhere there is much more to see and embrace than to "be connected"

If you plan to spend time in Copenhagen, I have a suggestion for you. Rent a car, drive for one hour and you will end up in an incredible landscape complete with an impressive estate from the 17th century. Kragerup Gods has been owned by the same family in eight generations. Luckily the family decided in 1998 to start a hotel at the estate so it is possible for everyone to get an unforgettable hotel experience.

The different rooms are located in different parts of the estate. I rented a room at the dairy. The room is not so big but it is very clean and has a nice shower. The beds are comfortable and the atmosphere is great

As you can see at the pictures, this estate invites to spend time walking around the property outside or to go through the different rooms. The restaurant was a pleasant surprise. Not expensive at all and an impressive selection of wines. Not so big but tasteful. The only thing I missed was a Portuguese wine, but I would not be surprised if they will fix that immediately. This was a top class restaurant staff. I ate dinner outside in the sunshine listening to the birds. Just look at the pictures...

The entrance is wonderful, the grand gardens, the old trees that greet you when you arrive.
The staff are very friendly, and for a small fee we were placed in one of the newly renovated rooms that overlook the court, in the main building.

The rooms are large, the bathroom is wonderful and large as well. The staff are very friendly and the food in the restaurant is great.

I've never slept in a better hotel bed.

There is plenty of stuff to see and do on the large surroundings, you can go climbing, mountain biking and there's even a cable track.

Yet I'm not giving this hotel five stars. The reason is the wifi reception in the rooms. It's almost nonexistent. I was able to get a 1.5mbps connection which disconnected me multiple times per hour. The hotels whereabouts don't give you any alternative for internet connectivity, with 1 star 3G and sometimes 4G.

This makes this hotel less suited for those with their own business or young people who like or need network access. It's 2017 and this is important for a lot of guests these days.

We wanted to treat our selves with a one night stay at Kragerup Gods and we were highly excited about the experience. I upgraded to a room in the old main building and the room was excellent fully corresponding some of the finest hotels around the world in a baroque and nobel kind of way. The open spaced living rooms with real fire were great areas to have coffee and great Danish cake. Also, we went to be spa area which was nicely renovated and the heated pool inside looked like something from ancient Greece. We had a wonderful dinner at the old kitchen cellar and the food and wine was delicious! A lot of local Danish ingredients were used and the steaks from their own cows, the superb red wine was Italian though :D The morning after we had fantastic brunch in the old cellar from the 1600th hundred and the food here was also very delicious. A highly recommendable experience and we are definitely coming back.

Room Tip: Choose the rooms in the main head building, they are truly amazing!

The setting and buildings around Kragerup Gods are truly beautiful. Beautiful green lawns and towering trees with a series of old barns and a large farmhouse/mansion accessed by a bridge across a moat. It is really quite magical. The rooms are very nice with furniture fitting the setting and generously sized bathroom. The facilities around the venue also add to the quality of this place, foot-golf, canoeing, zip-lining and many more things.
