As far as reasonable priced hotels go this ones good. Nice size room and bed. Good service clean quiet and good food. Be aware that’s even though it says “airport hotel” it’s actually a 10 minute taxi ride with no other way of other unless you walk the 3 k. Taxis around 14”danish krona. Apart from that we were satisfied
Brown water - what more can I say. Disgusting! There is supposedly a fitness room at the hotel too. Not sure a multi-gym in a corridor can be described as a fitness room. Very disappointed and would not stay here again. I expected more from a best Western hotel. Avoid at all costs!
We stayed at the Best Western for one night on our trip to Copenhagen, it is only a 15 minute walk from the airport or 5 minute walk to the Metro and 1 stop from the airport or 7 from the city centre (around 25 mins with walk). The rooms were pretty old to be honest but they were clean so can't complain really, a decent option if you want an affordable base.
2 nights 2 rooms 4 adults plus a baby. 1st night we arrived just before midnight having pre-ordered a crib. No crib set up, but it was quickly sorted. We had 4th floor rooms, with the entire corridor under renovation. Noise early next morning. Ladder blocked the door. Room carpets soiled. Bathrooms are worn out. Kettle in room 440 broken. Instant coffee capsules produced a hot brown unpleasant liquid. However, the sheets were clean, the bed was comfortable, the rooms were quiet at night, the shower was hot, and the wifi worked. The desk folks were excellent, especially Johann. The location is a 15 minute walk to the airport or a 105 DKK taxi ride. Which arrived within a couple of minutes. Nearby good cafés and restaurants. Clean neighborhood.
I am a UK resident and the distinct feeling I got from the local area was on of a run down area that has attempted regeneration. This is not the fault of the hotel, however.
The hotel itself was fairly okay. Rooms were very large. WiFi good.
I work in a hotel myself and know when staff morale is low and I'm sorry to say it appeared at its lowest with certain staff members swearing in English around reception with an acquaintance in a short summer dress.
The lady on reception was lovely but again everyone seemed fed up and this transcended to alot of the overall feeling of the place.
This needs to become an independent hotel outside of the best western family.
It is not close to the airport and is X good twenty minute walk away !
Beds very comfy. Suitable for one night stay. Good bus links. Good on a budget. Despite Google claiming Kastrup is not a bad area it appears to have it's fdir share of alcoholics young and old congregating outside a netto!
After spending a week in beautiful, clean Malmö I am rather shocked at how dirty and overcrowded Copenhagen was!
