Small rooms but well organized equipped and clean. Great breakfast buffet with wide selection . Great if you’re going to spend most of your time exploring the City. Close to the city for commuting from Tarnby, takes about 10 minutes to the centre.

This was an ok hotel, but I wouldn't stay there again as I chose it for it's proximity to the airport, but it didn't save me enough time to justify going back.
The staff was polite, the room was clean, and I had no issues there.

One issue is that there really wasn't anything around it, so other than a limited menu at the bar, there wasn't much to eat.

If I was driving, it would have been fine, but I'd have been better off to find a hotel close to the central train station and take the express train instead since I was only using mass transit.

Room tip: Only stay here if you're driving.

We stayed at the Go Copenhagen last year for about a week and had a good experience. So why not do it again. This year the experience was the same. The rooms might not be the biggest, (European sized), but sufficient enough. The beds are very comfortable and everything is clean and well looked after. There is free parking, the wifi is free, breakfast is available for a nominal charge, and the front desk is open 24 hours. The terrace is just outside the lobby area where you can have a "picnic" if you wish, there is a Netto located about five minutes away. Also, there is always available, for a nominal fee, hot drinks in the lobby. The staff are friendly and very helpful. This is a reasonable priced hotel and is in a convenient location. The hotel is situated about a 200 metre walk away from Taarnby Station. It is about a 3 minute drive to the Airport and the Fields department store is only a short drive away or only one stop away on the train.
We use it for our base, for visiting sights or for visiting family, or actually just to enjoy Copenhagen! For starters, Taarnby Kirke is just across the street. This is a beautiful and amazing church, dating from the 12th century. The charming fishing village of Dragor, dating from the 12th century is a 8 minute drive away. We used the Go Copenhagen Hotel as our base to explore more of Northern Zealand. As the hotel is situated just off the highway, it was easy to get on the proper roads to visit different Northern Zealand highlights. Gilleleje, for instance, is a small fishing village on Zealand's northern coast. It is only about an hours drive from the hotel. This town has a very interesting history associated with the rescue of Denmark's Jewish community as it relates to WW2. There are amazing places to visit in the countryside north of Denmark. A few that we visited were Jaegerspris Slot, the town of Frederiksund, Frederiksborg Slot, Soborg Slot Ruin, and among other sites in Gilileje, the church. This will keep you going. Then of course, you will need a beach break, try closeby Amager Strandpark and Bellevue beach. Good places to catch the Sun.
There are perhaps two comments that I shall make about Go Copenhagen, they in no way make me want to subtract any points. One is, this is a popular hotel with workmen, the parking lot can fill up rather full with their vans, etc. We always found a spot to park, but it was rather nip and tuck, literally. The other one is, there is a cultural centre just next door. They seemed to have weddings, etc. going on there quite often. It wasn't the celebrating that got noisy, it was the setting off of fireworks. I don't think that this is legal in Denmark. It didn't carry on and on, but it happened on both our visits there, and of course, at some point gave us rather rude awakenings.
Needless to say, we will stay here again.

Clean modern room, power shower/toilet. Room was relatively small but adequate. Comfy beds. Breakfast was basic continental but was kept well stocked. Situated in a modern cafeteria style. 5 mins to train station with frequent trains to centre about 10 mins. Free car parking.

    No coffee/tea/kettle in room.

See title - cheap (for Copenhagen), no frills airport hotel. Rooms are very basic but we didn't need anything more for a 1 night flight connection stay. Online check in and phone room key seemed convenient. However, our party were assigned 2 rooms in completely different parts of hotel - not just different floors, but different wings! Also beware taxi cost - 250 Danish kroner each way for a 5 minute taxi ride! I thought we'd been ripped off, but the receptionist confirmed this was the going rate because of airport fees the drivers are charged!

    Dear Guest,

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your stay with us at Hotel Go Hotel Copenhagen. We are glad to hear that you found our rooms adequate for your one night stay. We apologize for assigning you two rooms in different parts of the hotel. Our goal is to ensure that all guests have a comfortable and satisfactory experience, and we regret if we were unsuccessful in meeting that goal during your stay. As a hotel located close to the airport, we do have to factor in airport fees when it comes to taxi fares, but normally it's closer to 100-150DKK. We hope that this knowledge will help you make more informed decisions when travelling in the future.

We hope that you will consider staying with us again in the future and thank you again for your feedback.

Really enjoyed our time at Copenhagen Go Hotel. We stayed 3 nights in between different trips from Kastrup airport to Iceland, Greenland and India. The room for 3 adults is really perfect and spacious - especially if you want to open and pack/repack your bags. It has a cute sloping roof that you have to be kind of careful of when you’re getting in and out of bed. The room and bathroom were very clean, there’s a little kitchenette too with some tools, plates and cutlery.

They have a fun little reception with some drinks, coffee, tea and sandwiches. Very cool addition at scandic hotels is the little toaster for paninis and a microwave if you have other food you want to heat and eat. No restaurants close by but there’s big supermarkets just across the road.

The airport taxis do charge a little premium to get here (to go back to the airport is cheaper and a straightforward road) but there’s free parking if you do intend on getting a rental car. There’s an elevator at the back for bags - at first it looks scary to carry your bags up their multi-step entrance so definitely go to the back and get your bags up the elevator. Mostly friendly staff at the reception in an otherwise hostile city I would say.

Room tip: Get the room for 3 if you want more space - they are on the 5th floor. Use the elevators at the back of the building to bring your bags.
