We stayed for 3 nights, and received a hot deal that was available online. The room itself had everything you need. Great outdoor area right next to the playground and BBQ table.

Was very clean and tidy. It is a little outdated but the price we payed reflected on that so we didn't mind.

We got nothing but great service from the lovely lady at reception who was always helpful.

Our room was closest to the road and to our surprise was not noisy at all.

The only minor problem we had was the kitchenette had only around 2 power points. So when you were using the stove, jug and toaster etc you had to wait for one thing to finish. Became slightly annoying when you were cooking a meal. Maybe a digital clock would be handy for the time.

All in all highly recommend and would return again!!!

Thank you for your candid review. We pride ourselves on our service and our cleanliness, we feel this is crucial in our industry. We will make sure more plugs are available. Plus we put a extra in for fridge. We look forward to you revisiting us in the future.

Came here to be close to Splash Planet, which it was. Overall we enjoyed our stay and for the price it was very good.

Location-wise, it's a bit of a hike on foot into Hastings central, esp. in very hot weather. There was a very small but well equipped dairy/corner store just next to the motel and there were a few restaurants and a vege shop nearby too so that was quite good.

Room itself was clean and pretty well equipped. The only real issue here was that we were woken up each day by the footsteps of the people in the room above us. I swear we could hear EVERY little step. This would have been awful if they'd stayed up late or woken up very early.

The SkyTV was a bit of a let down as it only seemed to have a couple of channels but if you're not a big tv watcher that won't matter at all.

The pool was very nice. It was freezing (even on the hottest days), but it was very refreshing and lovely to look at.

Room Tip: Ask for an upstairs room unless you are a very heavy sleeper.

We ended in this motel unexpected, as the motel we initially had booked in for the night made a double booking, which left us on the street.
We were moved to a for us unknown motel next door but were delighted with what we found. Nice hostess, very helpful, spacious room, super clean, attention to details.
Quality queen size bed, enough chairs to sit on, TV on swivel arm and could be used from all corners. Free wifi. Although along main road little noise. There was a swimming pool with chairs on back court yard. I should certainly go back here.

We came here to play paintball, so we wanted to stay somewhere close to the venue and the option of a cooked breakfast.
We turned up Friday night and owners were really friendly gave us the option for the cleaning service we could pick between a really basic clean or a full clean he showed us to our room, the room was dated but fitted our needs, they provided tea/coffee etc and real milk in a jug so we didn't have to go back and ask for more, they had provided make up remover cloths so another plus as I had forgotten my face cloth.
as we had to be at our venue at 8.00 they were lovely enough to deliver our breakfast at 7.30am (which is earlier than what they offer), the breakfast its self is well worth the money and was really large, everything was cooked perfect.
Out the back they had many tables and seating which we were able to sit in the sun and enjoy a drink (we even played on the tramp)
they had free wifi I think for the first 500mb but we couldn't get the range as we were at the end of the building.
about a 15 min walk into town so was easy to go grab a bite to eat after a long day
We will be coming back to stay as this place fitted our needs.

Room Tip: if you want free wifi you may want to get a room closer to the main office

Stayed here recently and found it to be great value for the money. Both rooms were clean and well presented for there age. Hosts made us welcome and location was great. Will stay again and recommend to others. John L (Hamilton)
