If you are planning a reunion or a family getaway this is the place to be. The location is perfect with the mountain air, rainforest and grassy open areas as far as your eyes could see.

Beautiful, clean, spacious and well equipped cabins with the fire places just made us feel at home as soon as we entered and it was easy to relax and enjoy the weekend.

I would like to share some comments my Grandsons made:

8 year old; ‘I loved getting up in the mornings listening to the birds singing, going for long walks and feeding the birds.’

6 year old; ‘I loved the open areas where we could run, play, watch the wallabies and feed the birds.’

Whether it was a morning walk or a night stroll with our grandkids it always gave us the opportunity to enjoy and talk about God’s creations, so amazing and beautiful and something which we very often take for granted. The wallabies, fireflies, most amazingly colourful birds and even sighting a resting snake on one of our walks was a lovely addition to our stay.

All in all, it surpassed all our expectations and helped us to have the most memorable, enjoyable and relaxing weekend getaway. This would be definitely a place we would recommend to all our family and friends and the first on our list for future holidays.

Thank you and God bless

We recently spent the weekend at mount Glorious Getaways and absolutely loved it. The peaceful setting invited all types of native wildlife and we managed to get up close and personal with some very cheeky birds that were friendly enough to eat from our hands which was the highlight for some of our younger family members.

The grounds were spacious and provided plenty of flat surfaces for playing badminton and cricket.

The rooms and cabins were amazing and left you wanting nothing. Everything was thought of.

We really loved this place! Can't wait to go back!

We really struggled to find a location which could accommodate all 25 of our family members and were thrilled to come across this gorgeous get away.

We booked out the entire retreat and loved every minute of our stay. Each cabin is perfectly spaced so you feel like you have complete privacy and a little space of paradise for yourself. We loved the attention to detail with every thoughtful inclusion from crockery and cutlery, towels and bedding, shampoo and dishwashing liquid, even the fireplaces were stacked up for our use. The children loved the open shady spaces as did all of us grown ups and my aunties and grandfather too.

We filled the main homestead at night to enjoy meals together and games near the fire place. During the day we played badminton and lazed around under the trees.

The property is beautifully maintained, the the kitchens had everything we needed for the entire family and the attention to detail was faultless.

We loved our stay and will be returning for all our family getaways.

Thank you for accommodating us all Rollie and Liane.

We spent 2 nights in the Yellow Robin cottage and were very impressed. We arrived late and found the fire prepared ready to light, and an ample supply of fire wood. They have thought of all the little things you may not have- a first aid kit and hints in treating bites in the bush, torches and abundance of necessities for the bathroom and kitchen. An amazing retreat so close to Brisbane.

This place is spectacular, breath takingly beautiful mountain views. From the awesome road climb up the mountain to the village is an adventure in itself. Wildlife abounds and the expansive feel and home-style accommodation was just the ticket for family and friends to enjoy a wedding. Hosts where friendly and discrete. What an idyllic vista this place has and large fire place to talk with friends and family and a well set out kitchen with all the essentials of home to make food

Room Tip: does have a long dirt access road
