We attended Hartley’s today. The creek cruise was awesome and the tour guide was a bit of a comedian which added a light start to the morning. From here we did a croc farm tour, the guide was honest about his opinion on most farming industries. Some didn’t appreciate it but he was dead right with his opinion. Next we fed fresh water crocs, this was excellent!

I thought this was pretty good value - you get a lagoon boat trip and crocodile feeding session in the entry price. The staff were very entertaining and we thoroughly enjoyed every minute. You will need sunscreen, water and mosquito repellent. There was a surprising variety of food on sale in the cafe and not terribly overpriced. Although we didn't, you could easily spend the whole day here. Totally recommend this

Many thanks Mason for your excellent recommendation. Good tips there. As there was a lot of water inundation with the recent heavy rains, same advice would apply for most of the region as there was water everywhere.

The boat ride on the river is a must. Closest you'll get to seeing how crocs behave in a natural environment.

We went here on Easter Sunday, very busy day at Hartley's.
The crocodile feeding on the boat seemed a little bit rushed as I think they needed to get the crowds through, I have done this before and it was a lot better the first time which was not during a public holiday. There is lots to see and do at the park watching the croc attack show is one of the better things to see.
The canteen serves some nice food and if you like to eat some crocodile try the burger.Overall good day out and very reasonably priced.

Many thanks Maton. Obviously if we're busy we do try to ensure that we accommodate everyone. As staff do very well on these busy days and really appreciate your recommendation of our crocodile burger.

From the moment we bought our tickets at the desk and the lady wrote the times of all the days displays on our map, the staff made this visit special. We took a boat ride, a tour of the crocodile farm with a guy that was passionate about the environment and very knowledgeable, cuddled a koala, learnt about snakes and thoroughly enjoyed the crocodile attack show with Matt. We arrived expecting to stay a couple of hours and were there for 6 !
Hartley's is open every day from 8.30 until 5pm and costs $39 for an adult and $19.50 for a child. You can purchase a family ticket for $97.50. Lillie's the café is great here too with an excellent variety on the menu and good service. I'd highly recommend a visit to Hartley's.

What a lovely comment. Yes, we'd like to think we are still one of the remaining 'True Blue' attractions as there are not many family owned operations left in TNQ. And yes, Matt does a great croc show.
