We forked out extra money ($200 per night) for a quality cabin. The cabin was fine - roomy, clean, nicely furnished etc, although the smell of room deodoriser was overpowering. Our stay was marred by a cabin park expansion at the time which meant there was a construction site with power tools going less than a metre from the bedroom window. The manager said work would continue throughout Friday and Saturday. He became quite belligerent when we complained and said "It's not my fault" and "I don't own the place!" He said if we don't like it we should leave. It would have been nice to know about the construction work at the time of booking. I found the manager's attitude obnoxious. Won't be coming back!
