Not to expect anything fancy but basic motel stay at good price. Beds were comfortable and clean, toilet pretty old but functioning. Not too far away from the town center.

On site restaurant food are quite pricy and the wait for food to be done was long. Took close to an hour for dinner to be served.

Rooms are comfortable at this Motel however the food is AMAZING. My husband and I ordered the Beef Ribs. OMG they were fabulous and enormous! and served with crunchy chips and a nice salad. My husband could not eat all of his (2) ribs and neither could several other men who had ordered the same. Our friends really liked their meals as well (Coquille St Jacques and Salt & Pepper Calamari). The staff were friendly, treating customers like family. Absolutely do not eat dinner anywhere else in Queenstown

Queenstown being a very small town, we were recommended this place for dinner. The key word that sold it to us was ‘consistency’.
Very quaint restaurant attached to a motel, it was nice to see people dining in there.
I opted for the lamb ribs and my partner order the 700 gram rib eye on the bone. Yes, I said it was 700 grams!...
The lamb ribs were so tender and delicious but the portion size was so large, I could have another meal with it! My partner finished all of his 700 grams steak and it said it melted like butter and it was in his top 5 best steaks he had ever eaten! Now that is a big call! We had to compliment the chef on that one.
Service is very friendly and the atmosphere is nice. It was a great place for dinner being out first night touring Tasmania.

Recently stayed here for two nights on a business trip. Check in/out simple and quick.
Room very comfortable with comfortable bed and lovely hot water shower.
Restaurant provides some great Tasmanian meats with the sausages very good but beware - very large serve! Good wine selection and great service.

I am a mineral hunter and this was a good base for roaming around Queenstown looking at the mines and even looking for the elusive Mt Darwin Glass tektites near Crotty. Plan your trip and this is a tgood budget base.
