The only place in Sydney you can eat all 3 meals of the day and never be disappointed. From porridge and croque monsieur to baguettes and cheese soufflé to coq au vin. The flavours stay with you and will have you coming back for more. The service and ambience is beyond welcoming. A must for every local and any traveller.

Quite honestly, this is the best French food I have had in Sydney and I keep going back. I love brunch with friends here for excellent coffee and food that seems classic and tasty and a bit different all at once.
The dinner is perfect for both a romantic night or dinner with friends for good conversation without blaring music.
The French owner Raf is great and it's nice to be in a restaurant with the owner there and having that personal touch in the dining experience.

We went to the Café de France for breakfast. It is a cosy space, and as it was raining the outdoor tables were not in use. The menu items all sounded great and it was difficult to choose. The service was attentive and the atmosphere relaxed. The food was amazing - would have loved to go back and sample the dinner menu, but time did not permit. Highly recommended as somewhere a little different from your average breakfast fare.

I have been going back to this place all the time. I really love it. Each time I get the steak frites and the steak is just so perfect, it's soft but flavourful. I like the people who work there too, they are friendly and sweet. I would like to eventually try all the different dishes!
