PR is a nice hotel that offers just what is necessarely. And that is a pitty.
Now there is not enough personel. Reception as well as breakfast takes too long. There are no chairs and tables outside to relax. THere is no need to stay around, while it is a nice place to be. The furnishing, the carpets, they show some class, but there is none. The atmosphere is missing.
An extra powerpoint in the lobby is a must.

The hotel is beautifully decorated in 1920's style with very comfortable rooms & public areas. It was clean & comfortable and in a central location. We walked the few kilometers to Echo point although this has some long hills!
Only three problems: - room in front ground floor was near an informal smoking area so we could smell cigarettes often;
- noise insulation is not good - we could hear people leaving their rooms;
- there is no wife in rooms, only in public areas.

Dear Libby S,

Thank you for taking the time to write a review for us. We appreciate your feedback and have noted these issues and will pass them to our management team to be taken action for a better service in future. We have actually eliminated the smoking areas in the hotel and currently our smoking area is the one at the parking lot. However, we hope you enjoyed the rest of our service during your stay and look forward to having you staying back with us again next time!

The facilities and the services of room was much less than a 4 star hotel.
The queen bed was actually two joined single beds and totally poor quality mattress.
Minimum of hotel amenities
Low quality furniture
The wifi does not work in the room
No active bar and restaurant in the lobby

Dear Inlovemate,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback! We do apologize for disappointing you in regards to the misappropriation of the bedding configuration. There must be an error from our Reservations team when allocating you to the room. We have addressed this issue to the relevant department and we hope to have another chance to welcome you back with a better performance in the near future. The minimum hotel amenities probably due to the unavailability of minibar as our hotel will not provide minibar items in the room before we have adequate management team member to look after that area. Hopefully we can make some new changes in the future including the In-Room WiFi.

We had a very easy and relaxing experience staying at Palais Royale. The building is beautiful and the staff were fantastic. The room was very comfortable and clean and the bed was excellent. It's very close to some great cafes and also to the katoomba tourist spots.

The hotel was in between the town and the attractions, so walking distance to everything.
The service was great, Ron, Yena and Igor did everything to keep the customers satisfied. They were helpful and friendly in every way.
The only thing that was not so wow was the breakfast that was poor.
Apart from that everything was great
