We arrived at 9.30am and, having booked on online, avoided the main queue to pay. The cost to use the 3 rides was an expensive 39AUD but each was enjoyable and memorable. We started with the sky way trip hundreds of feet above and across the valley. With open sides this gave good opportunities for photos of the falls, three sisters and surrounding hills. The glass floor through the centre of the car was also fun and gave another perspective on the views. We next descended to the forest walkway by the scenic railway which, being the steepest in the world, was a good experience. After following the longest route on the raised walkway through the forest we returned to the top by the cable way. Although mid week in a school holiday we did not have to queue for any of the rides and were not troubled by crowds. We definitely recommend booking online and arriving early.

We had such a great time at Scenic World with our two toddlers - Sue and Tony were fantastic and made such a fuss of our 2.5 year old which was so lovely! We took the train down which was faster and steeper than we anticipated - great fun!

We visited on a Friday in March, late afternoon (maybe 2 hours before Scenic World closed) and we barely had to queue. Maybe 10 minutes for the railway, and then were just able to walk straight onto the cable cars with no waiting. We took the short walk around the forest due to the toddlers but it was still interesting with various information boards along the way. Sad that the busyness has put people off (reading other reviews) - maybe try to visit midweek and definitely not on a holiday, because it really is good when it's not crowded.

Fantastic scenic views. Do all the options cable cars, skyway, walking, skytrains. Very crowded so be prepared to queue a lot.Didn't get a good view because of the crowd so turned out to be disappointing for us.

Perhaps it was our bad luck to arrive on Easter, but it was really frustrating to wait at least half an hour at each station (railway, cableway, skyway).
The views were exhillerating , and the way to see it from different and unusual angles only added to the fun.
So, go on, visit, BUT NOT ON HOLIDAYS!!

Visiting this place at Easter time was always going to be fairly hectic. We found getting there early made things a bit easier. We believe we got good value for money out of the day pass. We did a few walks around the place and managed to travel twice on the scenic train.
If you are fit and able we recommend walking down the Furber Steps and then getting the scenic train back up to the top (or walking back up if you have the legs for it. We didn’t!)
