Always admire how clean and inviting the park looks whenever we drive past when visiting Gympie. The markets on the weekend are lovely.

A lovely short walk around the lake and over the little bridge. Nice trees and gardens. Heaps of birds and ducks and even some little water dragons. There is clean toilets, picnic benches and you can walk to the gold mining museum. Great place to come with kids.

A peaceful & delightful place to be. The amount of waterbirds & honey-eaters is wonderful if you are a bird lover. The park itself is well maintained and well worth the stop over if you are traveling through Gympie. It also provides a enclosed dog park for you favourite 4 legged friend(s) to stretch their legs. I'm a local and I jut love going there just to enjoy the peace of nature.

This place is great for a stroll, alone or with loved ones even small kids, maybe stay for a while to feed the ducks and swans or even a turtle. Then if you have the kids with you there's a choice of two very engaging play areas, both fenced and safe.
