The house that Saskia and Richard call a shack is hardly the term I'd use. It is a lovely, suburban getaway, situated on one of the many canals in town. It is an easy walk to the shops or the beach or the supermarket. We stayed a week without a car and managed nicely. When we enquired about an electric coffee maker, our host did not hesitate to come to the rescue. The house is well equipped with every other amenity I can think of with the exception of a DVD player.
