The room and view was amazing, we did not have ANY fresh towels, toiletries or soaps. Shouldn’t have to go and ask for them, been looked at stupid and been told ‘self managed and we wash our own’. Very disappointed.

Hi Morgan,

We appreciate you taking the time to provide us with feedback from your recent stay. Whilst it's disappointing to read your comments about the servicing, it provides me with the opportunity to explain to the Tripadvisor community about the cleaning of our apartments. It is standard within the accommodation industry for apartments to be classified as self-catering under the Star Rating Scheme for Australia. Self catering apartments only receive servicing for stays of 8 nights or more. This is common practice for all apartment accommodation not just Landmark Resort. We are not serviced apartments.

All of our apartments are self-contained with laundries providing full washing facilities. We also provide pool towels free of charge. I have forwarded your review onto all of our front office staff with emphasis on portraying a happy demeanour when similar are asked in the future.

Great to hear you found the room & view amazing. Please accept my apology & we will certainly take on board your comments.

Kind Regards,

Brett Thompson

Second visit to the resort & even better this time. Location can’t be beaten with the beach & restaurants & shops on your doorstep. Plenty of in-house activities with resort pool & spa as well as roof top spa & bbq area & full gym.

The best thing about this place is the location. It’s directly opposite the beach and is an easy walk to restaurants, bars and cafes.
We booked a studio room that was about the size you would expect. The bathroom was a good size and included a spa bath. We were nicely surprised to get an upgrade to a beach view despite the bad weather. The staff were helpful and friendly, particularly when we couldn’t get all the appliances to work ( note: put the room key card all the way into the slot). The amenities looked nice however we didn’t get to try the pool as it rained the whole time we were there. Overall we thought it was good value as it wasn’t overly expensive especially for the location and would stay there again.

Hi ShellW75,

We certainly appreciate your feedback on the location & value of the accommodation at Landmark. We do offer affordable accommodation & value for money. Great to hear your comments about the staff & acknowledging the service you received. Yes the key card for the power can be tricky unless it is pushed all the way through. Handy hint.

Shame about the weather, but you can always book another trip to Mooloolaba.

This hotel is position perfectly in the centre esplanade where all the shops, cafes and restaurants are.

Two pools, one being a small rooftop position.

It’s worth paying a bit extra and getting a scram view room. Staff very friendly and helpful.

One of the only concerns here are the lifts, very slow.

I would stay again, worth a try.

Hi Justin,

We certainly value feedback, & thank you for the comments on your recent stay. Certainly our location is the star, whilst all of our apartments don't offer absolute ocean views you walk out the front door & cross the road to one of the safest beaches in Australia. During the holiday period we were operating to capacity & the lifts were busy trying to get everyone to the beach.

It's great your took time to acknowledge the service from the staff. We look forward to seeing you back at Landmark.

The view from our room was absolutely mind blowing. We could see the Glass House Mountains, the sand hills on Moreton Island and the Mooloolaba spit all while checking out the surfing conditions. We were lucky and had a room with a private rooftop spa and BBQ. Loved the location, from the level 1 front door there were so many restaurants and cafes to choose from. Plus the Mooloolaba surf club and the best patrolled surf beach just across the road. Landmark had a really good pool, great area for the kids to play in and an undercover area with tables and chairs for mums and dads. Was impressed with the idea they have at Landmark, you can go to reception and borrow a boogy board great for travellers who come in by plane. Staff were more than helpful and very friendly. Awesome stay.

Room Tip: The top floors have private rooftop spa and BBQ.

Hi Michelle,

You certainly get a great view from the 10th floor, & as you have detailed you see a great variety of the different aspects of the Sunshine Coast. Thank you for mentioning your positive experience with the staff. Yes we supply for free beach equipment including boogie boards, umbrellas, chairs, kids buckets & spades. Great to hear you made the most of the surf with the use of the boogie board.

We look forward to welcoming your family back to Mooloolaba & thank you once again for the fantastic review.
