We use Wagyu 5+ beef(Japanese beef), which is extremely tender. All the sushi are freshly made by each order and fabulously presented with delicacy and micro herb on top. Our tempura is lightly battered and crispy. Please enjoy our sensational dishes.

They have chsnged the lay out but it's still great. Though, they don't have the Saiki (?) Sample paddle from my last visit. Still, they have various types but only in 180ml or 320ml ceramic bottles. The smaller bottle will be enough for most.
Food was still excellent & filling for me but some may find the serving a touch small in the mains. Surprisingly, the entrees were quite large compared to other restaurants.
This establishment used to do take away but whilst there I never saw anyone collecting so I'm not sure if it's an option.
Still recommended.
Cheers, Q.

The ambiance is great. The staff service was very good. We had sushi and sashimi. The quality of the food is good, portion is a bit small, with the price similar to top notch restaurant in Sydney and Melbourne. Still, worth having dinner there if you are here on holiday.

Having seen this restaurant open after the closure of the previous Japanese Restaurant (which we loved) we thought that we should try it out. It's restaurant sign says that it is Japanese Tapas (which is what the previous restaurant was) so we went there last week without a booking and we were able to get a table outside on the veranda as it had been a particularly hot day. We had no problem doing this and there was a cool breeze that ensured we had made the right decision. However, this is not a Tapas bar - as was the previous restaurant. You basically had to select entrees or main meals. But this was OK and we selected three entrees and a main. To be fair the food was certainly fresh and flavoursome, but by the time we added a bottle of wine to the menu, it was obvious that it was going to cost us a bit more than we expected. There were no complaints about the food or the service (which could not be faulted). But the servings were small (given the price). Throw in one of the cheapest bottles of red and it cost us $120. If we had been too full to finish off everything, this might have been a reasonable price, but we probably could have ordered more (which is unusual for us as we usually can't finish what we have ordered).

Again, we cannot fault the service or the freshness of the food, but not sure it is value for money or maybe we are not used to spending this amount on food. Definitely worth a try if you are into Japanese food, and definitely worth sitting outside if the weather is quite warm. Will think about whether we will go back or not. Perhaps we just didn't order the right food.

Tried this the first week they were open. Really impressed then with the quality of the food and service. Unfortunately my review didn't seem to make this site. But here we are again. Well it was just as good. Fantastic fresh food and great service ( thanks Bobby!). A great asset to the Island cuisine choices. Good selection of sushi and sashimi. Really surprised to see Edamame in the menu. This is really good! Sampled the tempura, the Don and a couple of mains. Leaving very satisfied. Well worth a special visit when on the Island. Well don Tetsu!
