“Lovely Cottage in a Great Location”
Reviewed October 12, 2014 for a stay in October 2014

We stayed at Piet's Cottage on our recent visit to Phillip Island. We had 3 adults and two young children (aged 2 and 3). We found the house to be well appointed with everything we needed. We found the owner excellent to deal with and highly communicative. Property comes with everything including linen which was a big plus for us. Very conveniently located near the beach close to the Phillip Island Sailing Club. Also very convenient to the main street and cafes on the esplanade. We were visiting outside school holidays so it wasn't too busy but I would imagine it would get quite busy at the height of the holiday season. No problem with parking though with a driveway at the back providing easy access for unloading and loading cars (would take 3 cars easily). Plenty of space in the gardens for the kids to run around safely. One drawback for us is that it doesn't have a bath - that was OK, the kids just had to learn to use the shower. All-in-all an excellent place to stay when visiting Phillip Island.

Wow, what a lovely review. We are so glad that you had such a positive experience. We agree with everything you have said and our dream is to install a bath some time in the future. We love holidaying at Piet's, because we don't need to take the car when we go out for dinner. I like to walk along the beach and Jamie is able to park his boat and car in the driveway.
We wish you all the best.
Thank you once again

“Best of all worlds”
Reviewed July 21, 2014 for a stay in March 2014

A clean, comfortable and cute cottage. We had a great stay at this property over a long weekend. Location is great - the beach is a stone's throw away (you are looking at it from the front gate) and just a block away from the shops and restaurants of Cowes. We had our two teenagers with us so it was ideal - they could do their own thing and hit the shops while we relaxed in peace.

It's an old property which has been renovated with all mod cons. The owner is an artist so another point of interest is the finished and in-progress canvases. This place suits summer or winter stays - I am planning a winter weekend so we can light the open fire.

Thank you very much for taking the time to complete a review. It is always lovely to hear such positive comments and they are much appreciated. We try very hard to make our guests comfortable and ensure that their stay at Piet's is a positive experience. We are fortunate enough to stay occasionally ourselves. It gives us an opportunity to check out things and change accordingly. We are always updating facilities and regularly maintaining the property. We make it our home away from home and hope that it becomes the same for our guests.
We look forward to having you stay with us again in the near future.
With Kind Regards
