My partner and I eat breakfast here almost every weekend but on this occassion we decided to give the evening menu a go.
As alwasy the wait staff are very friendly and highly capable with most having the ability to take an order correctly without the need of writing it down.
We started with dips and bread and half dozen oysters kilpatrick. The Oyters where to a good standard but the highlight is actually the freshly baked bread they use. Some of the best bread I've had at a restaurant.
Our mains consisted of a Duck and Goats cheese Pizza and a Serloin steak (Rare). The pizza is a little surprising in that they maintain the moisture in the duck. The steak was cooked to perfection and it should be noted that the Chef actually knows how to cook a rare steak, something that most Perth chefs struggle with.
For dessert we had a coffee mouse which was quite nice.
Overall this was another great feed at Catch 22. It has quickly become our favourite over the last year with its good quality that always consistent.
