The beach that stretches all along North Shore is quite simply stunning, you need to plan how you get there on the tiny ferry, to make the most of your day, but is so worth it.

Take your swimming gear, a huge picnic, a sunshade and lots of water, then wonder at how you can find such an enormous stretch of white sandy beach, you can always find a secluded spot.

Be careful with the strength of the waves, there are no lifeguards along this stretch and the water is forceful. Complete heaven if you stay close to shore and let the waves bash you around like an expensive spa treatment.

Take your best friend and enjoy!

Accommodation was run down, broken fans, stains in carpets, unclean & unpleasant! Brothel style. Horse facilities still good, but needs a tidy up. Pub has poor food choices, no entrees or deserts. Not worth $195 a night, should have camped and brought our own food.

I cannot say enough about Noosa. It is a long trip but if you want to get away, REALLY away, then go here. Sure it is filled with nouveau riche but Auusies, no matter what their standing in life, love Americans, especially Americans who are not afraid to go "au naturale" with them. If you are ever going to make one 14 hour plane trip in your life, go to Noosa. Their are some bread and breakfasts available - choose one instead of a hotel.
