The hostel has got the atmosphere of a nice place with a nice courtyard filled with chairs where to hang on, the music of the hostel arguable choice and a TV. Kitchen, shower and toilet were ok in my part of unit, but the cleaning starts around 8am on average and it is a lot loud and feels like they want you up early even on rainy days where you cant really do much being in Noosa. Rooms are small and somewhat humid maybe because of the climate. There is strict policy NO NOISE after 10pm. Have to say one evening guys above my unit engaged in a (friendly/drunk) fighting which felt like a herd of elephants passing upon and stopped right at the boarder of 10pm. I guess I ve got lucky as there was no one to complain.

A big surprise/minus: there are no lockers at all, inside rooms nor outside, with the staff saying it is completely safe to leave valuables just like this in the rooms. They however offer to keep your valuables at the counter for when they are there (8am to 7pm I assume) and once I ve got to the hostel after 7pm once I had t wait until next morning to pick up my laptop. More information on the working hours provided in advance would be appreciated as I dont read all the walls signs (Plenty there).

Also feels extremely unfriendly (and we are in Australia) you have to leave the premises just after you checked out or before 10am mandatory unless you are willing to pay five more dollars to be able to stay around with your luggage. Presumably because you pay for using toilets and showers when you are already checked out or that was the explanation given to me at the reception. Plus five dollars more for someone to keep an eye on your luggage once again when you ve checked out. Again, free hostel wifi never worked for me, maybe my room was too far form whatever router.

Pluses: if you are after surfing, boards and wet suits rented for free

Room Tip: Rooms with no courtyard view are most likely to avoid peoples noise.

The hostel was beautiful-lots of care, love and thought put into the common rooms and outside space, with lots of comfy chairs, space etc..The hostel is beautifully designed and decorated-a real hippie beach theme!! The free pick up/drop off service to the main centre of town and the hostel was superb. The rooms were spacious and clean. The kitchen's are clean and with plenty of utensils. The hostel is far out from the main town&beach but in the perfect location for the Noosa coastal walk. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

The pink hostel is one of the nicest places I've stayed in. The staff is easy going and young, very friendly and always in a good mood. The facility is nice and clean. Two rooms share a kitchen and a bathroom, which is very nice and creates a private atmosphere. The big yard in the middle is equipped with hammocks and nice furniture to hang out and socialize with the other guests and the staff.
I didn't want to leave this place, even after extending my stay.
I really recommend this hostel if you want to visit Noosa and the Everglades!

Firstly, this hostel gives off a chilled/hippy vibe. There are all sorts of rules around the hostel eg no goon allowed... You at least think you're going to get a good nights sleep but there is no night manager here. It is not a quiet hostel. People were loud until around 1am and there were 2 loud French guys sat right outside my room playing music and talking/laughing but there is no one to complain to. Along with the weird rules, another is that check out is 9.30am and you are forced to leave the premises once checked out. It comes across as extremely unfriendly as they know lots of backpackers have to wait for buses and have nowhere to go with bags. Kitchens are small and cramped. Cleaning staff start banging dishes before 8am and the loud music starts at around this time also. Worryingly when a guy checked out the first day his bedding never got changed. Clearly lazy management, this place could be so much better! Pros are location and free shuttle to bus station.

Wanted to stay half a week, ended up staying over 3 weeks. I liked this place! The apartment style setup is a nice change, compared to normal hostel setups. The staff was helpful and easy going - the checkout time was not really forced all the time and you were allowed to use the facilities when you asked nicely even after checking out. This is what backpacking is about - spreading good vibes! I would've loved to stay longer but I couldn't due to having to continue my travels!

We stayed here for a week; Noosa is such a cool place with lots to see so it was nice to come back to hostel and relax in the hammocks and sit around with others and share stories, play pool and listen to music. The bedrooms and kitchens are very clean, and cleaned each morning by the hostel staff! Would highly recommend it

Dolphins is a hostel with shared rooms, dormitory type rooms. It also offers private rooms and they are far away from the shared dorms with a separate kitchen and bathroom. This is really the ideal place for couples or just people that want to relax away from the crowds. The private room area feels more like a hotel than a hostel!
They are located very close to the beach and national park. They also offer a free shuttle service to town and back.
Had a wonderful stay!
