Take the old pacific highway exit to Brooklyn and you will find Estuary just 25 minutes north of Hornsby. Decided on having lunch at the take away kiosk and found a great table to sit and admire the relaxing water views. The downside with the visit was ordering the salt & pepper squid with chips which was fresh but the serve was poor value for the price.

We did not eat at the restaurant but bought coffee and snacks at the takeaway counter. Very pleasant outside seating with great views. Although the service was a little slow, the snacks- home made sausage roll and banana bread - were very good. Coffee ok if not quite hot enough. A nice place to stop to break up a Sydney trip. However, the restaurant menu looked quite expensive.

I have now eaten here a few times and the setting is fantastic and food is great unfortunately the service continues to be a let down.
Coffee served with a moat surrounding the cup is a never a good look. No sugar served on the table eventually I had to go and ask for sugar and a napkin.
Then ordered a second coffee that never appeared so we left after getting tired of waiting.
Fine dining should be better than this again the food is delicious and the setting is great but the service unfortunately is 1 star.

Went to this restaurant to celebrate my 60th birthday. The food is nice. the view is nice. the service does not match the food or its price. I hear that the takeaway shop is reasonable. Also you need to bring your own highchair if dining with toddlers.

Very disappointed! The owner is extremely rude! The barista was lovely but the owner was I credibly rude when asked to use the facilities. I will not and do not recommend giving your money to a company that treats customers so poorly! There is a way to speak to people!
