Nice location in the middle of the village.
The staff very friendly, and the dishes were good.
Several wine labels.

First of all some reviews seem to be confusing this restaurant with Pfefferkorn.
Pfefferkorn is downstairs at street level, with Pfeffermuhle upstairs.
Pfeffermuhle is not the sort of restaurant that would want to rocking up in ski boots ( I would guess).
Food pretty much outstanding. Service very pleasant, with nice maitre d', but was terribly slow. Our meal took at least an hour longer than it should have, and the restaurant was not busy.
Guess that kitchen is also cooking for Pfefferkorns which is usually full. Could be wrong, but can't otherwise explain the slowness. Didn't really detract from the meal, but was a talking point!
This is an expensive restaurant. Wine list stupidly expensive. Cheaper wine would have seen us buy more!

I stopped in here on my first night in Lech and had a ham, cheese, tart that was more light a very thin crust pizza. It was excellent and the service was outstanding. I stopped in a day later to have lunch for a different experience. I think they may have been short staffed so it was difficult to get served and back out quickly even though I was at the bar. They had an extensive menu so a lot of selection. They keep in warm in there also so you won't be able to stay to long if you are in your snow clothes. I would definitely recommend it if you can catch them at the right time. There is also a bar outside, a sushi bar downstairs and a gourmet market in the same building.

Had a lunch here. The menu was OK but the service a bit dire (and it wasn't a packed restuarant). The waitress forgot to bring two items from our order. an OK place but when there is so much choice in Lech they need to try a bit harder.

Our three generation family ate at Pfeffermuhle when our hotel's staff had their day off during our recent holiday. We were fortunate with the weather and we were able to sit outside this restaurant on a warm evening. We enjoyed the view of the mountains and also watching the world go by on Lech's main street.
We went to Pfeffermuhle because we had been told of its wide selection of possible things to eat. Between us we had pizzas and local dishes and most of us had one of the lovely ice creams, which we also enjoyed on other days of our holiday. It was all good quality and the service was attentive and helpful. The bill was also very reasonable for the 8 of us.
