Five night stay. Good location on the Binz promenade within easy strolling distance of the pier and town centre. Room was reasonable but balcony too small to be of much use and in a side alley so no view. Friends had front sea view room which was better but can be a little noisy late on. Buffet breakfast was very good. Only ate at the hotel restaurant one evening - good choice of alternative eating places in Binz. Food was fine but service somewhat disorganised. Be aware that you pay additional for parking in the hotel underground car park (street parking in Binz is difficult) plus a compulsory per person local tourist 'beach tax' which adds approx £15 per night in total to your room cost. Would rate hotel overall as better than average but more 'good' than 'very good'

We stayed here for 1 Night Only but had a nice stay. Location is good, close to the beach and 7 min walk to the main street.
The sauna and steam room area is great, very clean and well done.

Rooms are clean, modern and comfortable. Breakfast was nice, good variety of things. Would recommend.

The have a garage that you can use for 12€ per day (under the hotel).

Absolutely nothing to reproach. Spotlessly clean, perfectly appointed appartments; comfy beds, in-room IMac, excellent and very varied breakfast, soundproof windows, nice wellness oase, soundproof windows... Add to this a nice off-season deal found through a server and you have an outstanding place to spend a few days off. Great place.

Hotel location a little way from the pier - but quieter for that. 2nd row back from the promenade.
We stayed in a suite on the lowest floor of the hotel, and could just about see the sea from one of the two balconies. The sittingroom/kitchen was large, well furnished, clean, light and airy and had very good WiFi connection.
Staff were friendly and the building was well kept. Breakfast was good, but the (self)serving areas very cramped - best to avoid peak times. Nice to be able to eat on the decked terrace which is adjcent to the promenade with views of the sea.

Negatives were occasional smells from the bins which were stored directly beneath our room (it was a very hot summer) and slight noise from deliveries and cars exiting the garage.
If we went again we would get a room on the same corner but 2 floors higher.

Room Tip: Get one on the hgiher floors

Found this hotel/apartment in a travel guide and it doesn't disappoint. it was not particularly cheap but well worth the money. We were travelling together as two friends and had the corner apartment with my friend sleeping on the sofa bed. The only difficulty with this was that it was necesary to walk through the living area to get to the bathroom and so the apartment is probably more suited to a couple. We later discovered that the hotel has "Comfort rooms" with kitchenette and these may be better for friends travelling together.
The apartment was beauiful- tastefully furnished with a well appointed kitchenette, dishwasher etc and a lovely walk in shower. There were two balconies, with a view of the sea from one.
Location was perfect- right on the Promenade and within easy walking distance of the main part of Binz. There are plenty of restaurants and bars along the sea front.
The hotel offers evening meals. We only had the breakfast which was included in the price and which was probably the best selection that we have ever seen! Breakfast can be taken on the terrace overlooking the sea if the weather is good enough! There is also a sauna and treatment rooms which we did not use but which looked lovely.
It was our first visit to Binz and we fell in love with the place and with this hotel- will definately be coming back!

Stayed here during the first days of August. Lovely hotel situated right on the boardwalk. Easy parking with the "normal" german lifts for cars, but easy to use. We had a room with bedroom and livingroom/kitchen and two balconies, one small and one a little larger. Nice living room with leather sofa and an iMac as TV + extra TV in the bedroom. A small kitchen with refrigerator (that doubles as minibar), stove, dishwasher, etc. Good size bathroom with walk in shower. One of the best breakfasts I have seen with plenty to choose from. We have stayed in Binz on several occasions but this was the best hotel ever, will stay here next time. The only complain would be that the safety box was very small so I couldn't put the iPad there and there is no A/C but that isn't very common in Germany and the other hotels we have stayed in Binz haven't had A/C either.

First of all, Binz is generally a resort for Germans. It is a rare occasion that you can find somebody english-speaking here, apart from the hotel's reception (but this is also not a common case). Most restaurants are local - with local german menu, so if you don't like guessing, you'll have a hard time when choosing a starter or main course (which is fish, most of the time, served with fried or baked potatoes). If you're OK with this, then it's a nice place (in mid-summer).

+ nice modern hotel with a cosy lobby and a nice restaurant with beachfront terrace
+ english-speaking personnel
+ more or less nice rooms with a heater (absolute necessity for Binz in winter or spring)
+ Macintosh with free internet

- bathrobes and even slippers - only for sale (33 EUR)
- somewhat average breakfast (only the tea selection was memorable)
- unhandy (maybe improperly installed?) mixer-tap in the bathroom. You can get boiled alive or frozen to death - but it's almost impossible to simply wash your hands.

Room Tip: comfort rooms come with shower, standard rooms are smaller but have a bathtub
