Our family group of 14 including 3 young children dropped in around 10:00 a.m. on a Sunday morning. We were able to move some tables together. Our server, Shab, was very good and friendly. She appeared soon after we were seated and took our order for beverages, which were delivered in good time. Crayons and colouring sheets were provided for the kids. She gave us time to think about our orders, and after ordering, our food came in a reasonable time. The restaurant wasn't packed but it was quite busy. My wife and I ordered the 55+ omelette. I thought it was OK but the fillings were not completely to my taste. The options for omelettes are limited. My wife said hers was good. She liked the stringy hash browns. The fresh fruit that came with mine was good. My toast was a little overdone but OK. Looking around, it was the only overdone toast I saw. I asked members of our what they had and how they were. One had a build-your-own slam and it was very good, except the bottom pancake was burnt. Shab brought 2 properly cooked pancakes to replace the first two. Another had the Eggs Benedict, and he said it was cooked perfectly, unlike in most other places he orders it. Another ordered the Country fried steak with eggs. It was breaded and he said it was a little dry but the gravy helped. His sunny side eggs were done perfectly. Two ordered Veggie omelettes and they were good while the same response was given for the scrambled eggs. The Grand Slamwich also received a very good rating. The coffee was good and Shab made sure that everyone had enough to drink.
