Your satisfaction here will depend on a few things: If you're ok with being 15 minutes from the action in Rincon you're fine. If you're ok with a noisy neighbor up early yelling next to her husband two feet away you're fine. If you're ok that Puerto Ricans love to blast their music for the world to hear and the cottages are right next to the road your fine.. It only gets better from there... the cottage we had was awesome... spacious with a huge terrace sprawling over the ocean with the soothing sound of waves rolling onto the beach. It's also not pricey and Bella Jane is extremely nice and helpful.

Rincon has eight miles of beautiful beaches, each section with its own charm and distinction. We are located along a peaceful and quiet stretch of beach in southern Rincon. It is true that the heavy bar and nightlife scene is about 10-15 minutes from us, although we have some very good restaurants with excellent bartenders in “our neighborhood.” As Rincon is a small town, nothing is really very far away.

These guests were here during the Christmas, New Years and Three Kings holiday time. During that time, local politicians (2012 is an election year and we take our politics seriously here on the island) and families, sponsor holiday parades. We had at least six Santa Claus and Three Kings parades and several family parandas (musical parades playing traditional Puerto Rican Christmas music, sort of like caroling). These joyous festivities created “noise” and traffic during the late afternoon and early evening hours.

We are delighted Wisetraveler1974 thought the cottage was “awesome” and enjoyed the huge sprawling terrace. This is one of the fabulous features of all the Lemontree suites. Guests are able to really enjoy the indoor-outdoor lifestyle of Puerto Rico. Lemontree is an affordable opportunity to live by the sea with the knowledge that we are here for advice and daily housekeeping. We encourage all of our guests to take advantage of the reviews on Trip Advisor because we have found that guests that are familiar with Trip Advisor and read the reviews tend to be guests who appreciate what the Lemontree has to offer. A good match of guests’ expectations with what our property has to offer means satisfied guests.

This guesthouse was awesome! It was the perfect getaway. We spent 3 nights here while we did some surfing along the northwest coast of Puerto Rico. I highly recommend it.

What a wonderful experience!! If you are looking for a place to relax and experience tropical life then I would recommend Lemon Tree. Everything is beautiful and well maintained and you can enjoy your own little paradise! My husband and I enjoyed waking up everymorning looking out at the ocean from our ocean front bedroom and then spending the day on the beautiful porch!

We took a mid summer break to Rincon. Even though it was hot during the day, the evenings were cool and we were able to sleep with the windows and doors open. The ocean sounds were similar to sleeping on a sail boat but with coqui's in the background. The waves hit directly against the building at night. During the day we walked the beach...very romantic. Our hosts were attentive yet unintrusive. We especially enjoyed Kitty who was often around to welcome us back to the room. We will be back -- next time it'll be during the winter. If your looking for a bohemian style holiday right on the ocean this is it!

This was our first time in Puerto Rico, and we loved it. The Lemontree played a major part in making our vacation experience so wonderful. The property is very well-kept, quaint and cozy with pretty landscaping in the courtyard. We were in the "Coco" suite, which had a great tropical feel with a natural wood vaulted ceiling, tile floors, little kitchen in the corner. It has a huge covered deck for a fantastic ocean view, almost as large as the suite. We were only there for 2 days and nights, I wish we could have stayed longer. The sound of the waves, the ocean breeze, and the peaceful private beach were so relaxing and refreshing. Swimming and walking on the beach were our favorite activities. Close by are several restaurants with delicious fresh local seafood and vegetarian meals. We found great snorkeling nearby on the shore of Steps Beach just outside of Rincon, the closest town a few minutes away. There's a lighthouse in the area, too. Lemontree is also close to Mayaguez, a larger city with more "conveniences" and national chain stores and restaurants. The owner, Bella Jane, was extremely knowledgable and helpful whenever we had a question or needed directions. We recommend Lemontree to everyone looking for a peaceful retreat with the ocean just steps away. We hope to return someday! Loved it!

Room Tip: Ask for a second floor suite for a huge private deck. The Banana suite has a jacuzzi tub, but it wa...

This is a great hotel for a romantic escape. That's waht we wanted, and that's what we got. We loved the fact that we could sit in our terrace and watch the beatiful sunsets and the beach. It is a great beach for standup paddling. We will be back but this time with our son and other family.

This property had the very best customer service that we recieved the entire time in Puerto Rico. We arrived very late and there was a very nice note on the door and the unit was open and waiting for us. Later Bella Jane even came up and greeted us. She was very helpful. Was even able to accomadate our friends also. The suite was well stocked with everything you would need. Loved the coffee and milk it was a lifesaver! We would definitly return if we were going to be in the area again.
