Always a dependable meal, great staff and a genuine good time. Steak, specials, and pig roast on Sundays. Salads are fresh. Owner is a hard worker!

I have always liked to come to this restaurant when I go mountain biking. We usually stop for some beers and appetizers and the atmosphere is always a nice vibe. If you go don't be in a rush a enjoy the food

Three partner early dinner. Excellent atmosphere, service (Hector) and food. Desserts to die for, loved that key lime pie.

We visited Rincon in late August, and Shipwreck was one of the only restaurants open when we visited. We ordered grouper and mahi-mahi fish tacos. The tacos were smothered in so much sauce that you could not taste the fish, and the fresh "crunchy" taco shells were soft and cold because they sat in the fryer too long. The bar service was lackluster at best. There was a new bartender training behind he bar, and he seemed a little uncomfortable and therefore did not engage in conversation with us until the end of our meal. I understand the nervousness, but, you don't make money standing to the side and staring at people while they eat. Given that we were one of two couples in the place, we shouldn't have run out of beer, and the bartender didn't have anything else to do but to entertain us. Oh well. During regular season I am sure it has a different vibe. But, the saucy tacos were a disappointment. Order them sauce on the side if you want a fresh taste. Make sure you bring insect repellent!
