“Best view in Weston Super Mare”
Reviewed 2 May 2016 for a stay in May 2016

Thoroughly recommend. This apartment is really great, with superb views across the estuary to cardiff down to the somerset coast. Excellent kitchen facilities and scrupulously clean it makes for a really relaxing holiday. The owners are very friendly and left a welcome gift of local produce. Wi-fi is also available.
If you like walking there is a good hike from here through the woods to sand bay.
The steps from the carpark are quite steep and once inside there are also steps from the downstais loo to the living room.

Really enjoyed short stay in this well equipped apartment. Great views from the window and lovely cosy apartment to return to after a day out in the wind and rain. Weston and surrounding area was interesting and enjoyable place to explore. Lovely welcome gift of homemade bread and local produce was a real treat... Highly recommended would visit again!

“Excellent”
Reviewed 18 July 2015 for a stay in June 2015

Stayed for a long weekend at Pier View. We were very impressed with the apartment which was well equipped and very comfortable. We especially liked the open plan kitchen/dinning/living room with fantastic views over the old pier. The hamper of local produce was a very welcome addition which enjoyed out on the deck area. Would definitely recommend this property and we would stay again.

“Excellent accommodation with wonderful views”
Reviewed 28 June 2015 for a stay in June 2015

The property is situated at the far end of Weston seafront just before the road to Kewstoke. Provided you are fairly mobile the town is within easy walking distance also the railway station. We loved the spacious all in one kitchen/dining/sitting room with the views over to Wales. The sunsets over the Welsh coast were spectacular. For a novel dining experience do try the Indian restaurant (formerly Ghurka) that is 5 mins walk away.

We had a great stay in this lovely apartment. It is located in a quite part of weston but only a few minutes walk to all the attractions. Stylishly furnished and very comfortable. Would highly recommend a stay here.

“Beautiful apartment”

Beautiful apartment, very spacious and scrupulously clean, definitely 5 star in our opinion. There is quite a steep incline (plus additional steps) to this apartment so not really suitable for disabled or frail elderly. The views from all windows are magnificent. The apartment is well stocked with all you would need to make your holiday enjoyable. The two bedrooms are a little on the small side but, light, airy and very comfortable, the two bathrooms are very well thought out, tastefully decorated and lashings of hot water. The sitting room is large and open plan, plenty of room to move around, a fair sized dining table, and so bags of room to eat in style. There is a lovely little decked area which overlooks the sea, which contains a patio table and chairs, a stunning little suntrap and so peaceful after a hard days sightseeing.
Overall the apartment is spot in with added little touches like a well-stocked bookcase for the ardent reader plus an array of cookery books and information leaflets. The icing on the cake is the lovely owners, they are a joy, very helpful, informative and considerate and they ensured a very touching gift of a welcome pack laid on for our arrival with local, freshly produced goodies. Thank you so much for a wonderful relaxing stay with suburb home from home comforts. We would definitely recommend this apartment and will definitely be going back again.

“Perfect base for exploring Weston, or just gazing at the sea and sky”
Reviewed 25 January 2015 for a stay in January 2015

If you like gazing dreamily out to sea, watching the ever-changing sky, and seeing islands and distant coasts on the horizon, before popping down to town, perhaps for more chilling out in a beachside cafe, then you will love Pier View.

I was there for a restful January break after a frantic few months, and it was the perfect base for a relaxing break by the sea. Its location gives you the best of both worlds: far enough out of town to give you fantastic sweeping views out to sea, yet close enough to be able to walk in to Weston in 10-15 minutes, with a corner shop, pub and cafe only 2-3 minutes walk away. I didn't use the car all week.

The apartment is entirely self-contained within a handsome Victorian seaside villa, and has its own entrance, giving you complete privacy. Inside, it's a lovely blend of traditional and modern: high ceilings, grand windows and some lovely wooden furniture, but with a contemporary minimalist touch, warmed up with brightly-coloured rugs and cushions.

The living/dining/kitchen area is enormous, with direct views out to sea from two large windows. Even washing-up seems less arduous when you get an enticing view of Steep Holm island ahead of you as you scrub. The kitchen had all modern appliances and fittings. The main bedroom is on the upper floor, with an ensuite and adjoining dressing room, which means that the smallness of the bedroom proper is not a problem. The second room, with two twin beds, is also quite small, but there is enough storage space around the flat for this not to matter too much.

The owner had arranged a welcome hamper of locally-produced goods, which was a very thoughtful touch.

Overall, I think it's probably most suited to singles, couples or families with older children. Older guests may find the steps a little difficult, though if you have a car the parking space is right outside, and would leave only a few steps to negotiate.

I would definitely stay here again, without question. I was also very taken with Weston, which I found to be a lovely and lively seaside town, with a nice buzz about it, and of course a quite majestic beach (and I live 10 mins walk from beautiful beaches in south Wales, so I have high standards when it comes to the seaside!)
