My wife and I stayed for one night. We walked here from the train station and left Ronda from the bus station. Both are very walkable. Not in a 'hot spot,' but we walked to all the best parts of Ronda from here and it was great. The room was the biggest of many places we stayed in Spain and it was extremely clean. Like another review, the air conditioner/heater was very loud, but just let it run for a few minutes and it quiets down. The price was the cheapest of similar places in Seville and Granada. Perfect for couples on a budget, but still wanting something nice! Best place of our tour through Andalusia. Very friendly staff.

This is a great place to stay in Ronda, just minutes walk from the bus station, in a nice neighbourhood, good restaurant across the street, and also just a few minutes on foot to the fantastic viewpoint or the main shopping street. It is a modern hotel, tastefully decorated, freshly painted and sparkling clean. Tiles floors, so no ugly carpets here. Heating works very well in winter. Very friendly people at the reception. And all that at a very low price. So unless you want to spend over 100 Euro more elsewhere for a room at the edge of the gorge, this is the place to go. My recommendation. By the way, aircon/heating in my room was absolutely silent, split type.

This was a nice little no frills hotel. To me it fealt real, down to earth and quaint. It was clean, affordable, and fairly central. Close to the the bus station and not far from the main drag and view points.
Only small drawback would be the noisy air conditioner.

Hotel Morales is well located, and in my opinion especially great if you're a solo traveler on a strict budget. The good: it's dirt cheap, spotless, looks newly renovated, done in very good taste, has very friendly service (a rare thing, in my experience with hotels in Spain). I got a single room that was pretty and quaint, had TV and phone in the room for 25 euros a night!! (FYI, single rooms in Spain are shockingly shoebox size, everywhere I stayed).
The bad: it gets noisy - you hear everybody. Rooms look mostly onto an interior stairwell/courtyard-y type deal (see pics).
If you don't mind this, great. Personally I wouldn't stay here if I was traveling with my boyfriend, since it doesn't feel very private because of the sound factor. i'd actually recommend Hotel Alavera De Los Baños, which I stumbled upon walking around - it's adorable, in beautiful moorish style, with great views and a pool, excellent quiet location by the ancient arab baths, and very reasonable for what it offers... I wish I'd found it before booking here! Oh well... still, the Morales worked for my tight budget and I'm not disappointed.

Found this place in our guide book and weren't disappointed. 50 euros per night for a double with ensuite and an extra bed for our daughter. We thought this was good value so we stayed 3 nights. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and well appointed for this level of accomodation. We liked the location slightly away from the main tourist traps so you felt a bit more part of the town. It was half way between the chasm, which is the towns main attraction, and the railway station. There was a lovely bakery just downstairs which we used for lunch & snacks. There were an abundance of places to eat closer to the centre. No breakfast was included but because this tends to be very basic in spain anyway it didn't worry us. All the cafes seemed to serve freshly squeezed orange juice and reasonable cafe con leche (white coffee). We liked Ronda very much and found a little to our surprise that the local people would always try to be helpful and were generally quite pleasant. This is certainly a place worth a visit.

In general Ronda is a beautiful place, and though it would be fantastic to say that you actually stayed on the edge of the gorge most of those hotels are too expensive. It's true that Hotel Morales isn't in the middle of town, but it is really well located. It's about 10 minutes walk to the train station and about the same distance from the middle of town and the gorge. It's in the new part of town and boasts a few amenities that are not common in budget accomodations in Southern Spain.

There was heat in the rooms which you could control and hot water that never turned cold. The bathrooms were ensuite and nice size. The bedrooms as well were good size and clean (though the air freshener was a little strong).

Only down side, no included breakfast and walk up the stairs.
