IMO it is important to clearly SET EXPECTATIONS on the booking web page: what physical items does the extra expense of a kitchenette room include ?
For a 2 occupancy room on the website list the STANDARD items included. E.G.: number of heating surfaces/burners included upon check-in, 2 spoons, 2 bowls (e.g. for cereal), 2 forks and 2 serrated knives (e.g. for chopping, breakfast or dinner), a 6 liter pot (pasta & sauce), a frying pan (blueberry pancakes), 2 drinking glasses, 2 coffee mugs, tea towel, dish cloth, dish soap.
It's not so much a matter of "we can get these to you as requested" but knowing what is the "standard inventory checklist". For the Lodge and customers alike.
BTW, aluminum pans don't work on an induction cooktop. Needs to be ferrous/magnetic. Otherwise you end up trying to flip blueberry pancakes in a 6L pot at 7:30 am. It's comical, but it can be done.
Very helpful and patient staff.More
