Food at Chiantis was extremely fresh and tasty.
We ordered a mix of steaks, pizzas and pasta as well as wine.
The steak and sides were generous sized and cooked to perfection.
The delivery of the food come out in a reasonable amount of time and was really nice.
The biggest take away is the friendly staff with the kids as well as the adults.
Mal, the owner, as well as he children and staff are a pleasure and we will certainly be going back more.

Decided to give this place a go, considering we live close by.

We ordered Bruschetta, Lamb Pizza and Potato/Leek soup and 2 x glasses of Chianti.

Service was prompt, and friendly. The food was average at best, the Bruschetta says it has Boconcini as part of the ingredients - unfortunately, this means a piece of boconcini about the size of a 10c coin. Additionally, the bread was very very dry and hard. The Bruschetta was ok, but it would be helped with a small drizzle of olive oil or balsamic - the bread just dries you out and the salsa did little to help.

The soup that my wife ordered....turned up with a skin...it had clearly sat in under a heat lamp for a significant period of time. The soup was average, but yeah...with a skin on it...the first impression just killed it.

Pizza was ok, but the base towards the centre was undercooked.

All in all, the food tasted ok...but not something to rave about. The skin on the soup was a big no no...and this should not have been even considered as an option to give to a paying customer.

You guys could be great, but it almost feels like there is no love or passion for the cooking side of things. The service saved you, the lady that served us was sweet and extremely polite.

We arrived for dinner for 3 people at around 6:30pm. The restaurant was quite busy. While we were seated quickly, we had to wait some time for staff to take our order. Our server was very friendly and accomodating and warned us it would be a long wait for food. She offered to bring the child meal out early.
It took over 30 minutes for the adults meals to be served.
The food was very tasty. We had the lasagne and the prawn and avocado pasta.
I will visit again but probably not when it is so busy or maybe earlier in the night.

Went there before and was very impressed but this time round, we suspect that the chef has changed. Why? The bruschetta was not using Roma tomatoes and over used vinegar. The pizza was like biscuit (were the base fresh?). The pasta was not al dente. It was a pretty expensive experiment to be given these type of food.

We visited Chianti's for dinner as we had a couple of hours to kill whilst one of the children was at a party. It's always reasonably busy so thought we'd try it but didn't have high expectations.

We got a table and was seated by one person, 30 seconds later we were asked by another girl if we wanted to order but we'd literally on just opened the menu. We said can we have some time but we quickly looked at the menu and ordered a bottle o; wine, a Sprite and table water.

A half an hour goes by, still no drinks and the waitress comes back and takes our order. I asked about the drinks and she said she would follow them up. BTW - it wasn't busy. About 5 minutes later the waitress came back and said she could bring the drinks as she wasn't 18. Another 5 minutes passes and a lady brings our drinks but not the table water so we asked for that again.

Our Pizzas came they were OK but nothing to rave about actually a bit bland. We ate them, finished our wine and left.

We never got our table water and we won't be rushing back there again
