The water is crystal clear and there is a tiny patch of white sand beach to lie on. The swimming enclosure is great but no waves. No lifeguards. The jetty is good for fishing when no one swims around it.

Stayed in an air bnb and spent the days fishing and walking the endless beaches. A must visit if you're on the east coast

We did not fish - no rod - but others were. Water very clear. With a rod could easily spend a few hours here.

In town for the Chamber Music Festival. Filled in an hour by investigating Amity Point ... a diversion worth the taking!

We were staying at the nearby caravan park and took a walk to the jetty. We were so lucky to see some dolphins playing near the jetty. People were having fun fishing and one guy was catching one bream after another. In the evening we went back and watched a stunning sunset.
