It's an excellent insight to the making and world of Harry Potter but I do find that they want to milk it for all its worth and empty your wallet as quick as possible!!

Visited here over the Easter holidays with young kids who are big Harry Potter fans. We all loved the tour, brilliant effects, loads of information, loved the wander under your own steam approach. Definitely highly recommend it. I did feel though that maybe a first thing in the morning tour would be better particularly if kids are young. We arrived at 4.20 for a 5pm tour and luckily we did as with all the queuing to collect our tickets, then through the lobby we only started through the hogwarts doors at 5.15. At that stage there were lots kids sitting down in the queues in the entrance lobby all tired before they even started the tour. Not great. I felt they should charge slightly more and reduce the numbers as it does take from the experience. My kids weren’t interested in queuing after that so we didn’t do the broomsticks, board the train, wands etc. as there were lines for all of the interactive stuff as you went along. Definitely hold out for 9am tour time and go early! Unlike others we thought gift shop had bits for all price ranges. Cafe in the middle of tour not great so bring a snack and water as we spent 3 hours going through. Enjoy it is a great tour.....just could do without the 50 mins queuing before we started.

Recently visited here in celebration of my wife’s birthday with the family and a small baby, and it was a superb day to be had by all! There is a whole world of Harry Potter that is available, with props, sets and interactive elements all included within the price. For avid Harry Potter fans this is definitely a must do!

We visited on a Groupon deal and it’s definitely worth paying the extra for the food, programme and butter beer. Fantastic day for the family!!

Four years ago I brought my daughters here eyeing the props and sets for the first time. Now, when my kids are older, I still reflect upon this place and its abillity to make me a small boy again. We took the 10 a.m. tour and preceeded the large amount of tour buses wallowing in. Still it can accomodate you, still it can satisfy you. New since before is The Forbidden Forest (scary) and King's Cross Station platform 9 3/4 (like in the movies). If you are a fan you will be completely satisfied, if not...you will become one. I recommend buying tickets in advance - it is not worth the cueing.

If you are a Harry Potter fab then this is for you!
Amazing sets, costumes and props all used in the films.
The forbidden forest was spectacular as well as the model of Hogwarts.
Lots of things to buy in the shop at various prices.
And don’t worry if your battery is running low on your phone after taking lots of photos, as you can hire a battery pack for £20 (refundable on return) as long as you have your own charger cable.
Staff were very helpful and friendly.
Can’t wait to go back (perhaps for Christmas)
