We went to the Bowl Inn as the only place we could easilly find in a short time. What a good choice. Alex andd Zoe were perfect staff. Food first class and the dog friendly room perfect for our needs. If you have no dog it is spotless. Mobile phones struggle to work inside although work when outside. That suited me fine. Food was excellent and well priced. It struck me the inn would not suceed if not very specail as it is well isolated. It suceeds as it offers first class old(e) world service. It has wi-fi if wanting it. Good TV in the room which was appreciated.

Room Tip: GPS is about a mile away. It is on the road so easy to spot.

There were children running around the dining area from around 7.00 to 9.00 opening and shutting the fire exit door to go in and out (and we could not move tables) there were also 2 dogs laying under the table next to us (we like dogs but not where people are eating) Customers at the bar were smoking electronic cigarettes and the service was slow and quality of the food was only average. Would not return in a hurry !

Room 6 which was a separate building to the pub did not disappoint. The bed was the one of the comfiest we have slept in. The room was warm & well equipped the decor was very nice but also quirky. The bathroom was lovely with immediate hot water.the food in the pub was delicious, although the seating is not the comfiest

Could not have had a more friendly welcome and delightful stay. It was Easter weekend and Hurricane Kate hit the area so my checkout time was extended to make sure the roads were clear. Kept cosy by the huge log fire and coffee and biscuits were provided. Food was very good and not over pricey. Would highly recommend.

Room Tip: Room 4 is above the bar and is the noisiest room - others are quiet

With a good pub Int the lower floor and 6 rooms, you are literally surrounded by farms, but only 20 minutes from Canterbury. Wifi bandwidth is consistent with the middle of the farms, it should be improved significantly. But the room and the service very good.

This is a superb place, our room was spectacular (room 6) amazing decor and super comfy bed, The steak in the pub was great. Really friendly staff and nice atmosphere couldn't ask for any more. If your visiting Kent I couldn't recommend this place enough.

Great welcome by friendly and most helpful staff.
Nice open fire to settle in front of, good selection of beers with friendly bar staff helping to break to monotony of working away from home.
Would recommend whether on business or pleasure.
