Regularly visit this pub for Sunday dinner, . I love the 'NO Frills approach just good honest locally sourced produce , cooked to perfection. We I go out and eat I judge the food and the ambience this pub has hit the jackpot.

Friendly welcome, characterful pub. Menu caters for most tastes, with a Specials board. No canned music. Small garden for eating outside.

Spent a pleasant evening at this country pub in Spennithorne. It's jammed packed with photos and memorabilia of the area over the years. The owners were very welcoming and the local beer was fab. Our food was delicious, all cooked fresh to order and reasonably priced. The Whitby cod was particularly good. Don't forget to save room for dessert., it's worth it. Highly recommend.

This is a pub crying out for some tlc. It could be stripped back to a proper old English country pub or could be taken to a contemporary eatery. As it is it is neither, it is stuck in a time warp. The beer is ok but the range could be expanded. The food is traditional pub fare but nicely cooked. The dining room is dated, the extraction system is inadequate and the passing trade is at present very low. Such a shame as it is in a nice village with lovely scenery on the doorstep.

What a delightful country pub with a lovely landlord and landlady. Called for Saturday lunch whilst staying in the area and was made to feel welcome on stepping through the door. We had our dog with us which was no problem at all, he even got offered a dog treat off the landlord. Food was delicious and can also vouch for the rose wine! If you call in spare a kind word for Jack, their rescue border collie who's a little wary of people but a beautiful dog with lovely owners.
