We came by bus from Prague. The Inn is a 5 minute walk from the bus station and a 5 minute walk (at most) to the old town. We stayed in the orange room - beware, when the owner says orange room, she means it! Walls, bedding, shampoo, soap, towels, dining utensils, plates, cups - everything was orange. At breakfast we noticed all green place settings, all yellow place settings, and more, so we can only assume the other rooms follow in the color coordination. I thought it was funny that everything was orange, my partner was a bit put off.
Breakfast was ample with a variety of choices. The owner encouraged us to take what we couldn't eat with us. Because the other couples at the inn were Hungarian, they carried on a conversation in Magyar with our hostess for over an hour at breakfast. We don't speak Magyar, so we were left out of the conversation and never had the chance to ask the hostess or any of the guests for restaurant suggestions or best options for canoe rental. I am NOT the type of person who expects everyone in the world to speak English. I enjoyed hearing them speak. I just wish our hostess had spoken to us a bit at breakfast, other than asking if we needed more coffee, tea, etc.More
