This village and hotel were recommended in Rick Stevens travel book about Prague. Our visit to the picturesque medieval village Cesky Krumlov was a highlight on our European trip.
Through TripAdvisor, we reserved a two bedroom on the second floor of the historic 15th century Hotel Konvice with picture perfect views of the castle. The second smaller bedroom was accessible through a separate room at the entry that gave access to the extra large master bedroom and bathroom. The rear of the rooms also had a common room to access the balcony which would be an incredible asset during the warmer months. The rooms were very clean and we found the beds and pillows to be very comfortable. Most appreciated was that the controls for room temperature could easily be changed and adjusted separately in each room.
Our visit to Cesky Krumlov was a easy trip on Flixbus from Prague for €10 one way for each person. Save money and book your own bus trip, instead of the more pricy same day-excursion from Prague by a tour operator. Use the money saved to spend a night in this charming village. It was an easy short walk up and down a small hill to the hotel, which is one of the first as you walk into the village. Restaurants serving traditional Czech fare are 30 seconds to 2 minute walk away. More
