We've been making trips to Prague for more than a decade (my wife is Czech) and have stayed in all sorts of hotels — from five-star palaces to tiny boutique properties. But from now on, we're sticking with Prague-Stay. For less than the price of a standard room at most of the high-end hotels in town, we got an enormous two-bedroom apartment located just a half block from Wenceslas Square. And it was so impeccably furnished, with super-tasteful mid-century modern pieces in every room, it made the Four Seasons look as stuffy as a grandma's attic. Daniel, who runs Prague-Stay, made himself easily accessible, but never intruded, and helpfully arranged transport to and from the airport, as well as stored some of our luggage during a side trip to the Czech countryside. My only complaint is that there aren't comparable services in every major European city.
