Really enjoyed staying here. The staff could not have been more helpful. Nice touches like the pralines to greet us. The Art Nouveau dining room is beautiful, and the bedroom was comfortable, with newly decorated and clean bathroom and the most easily controlled and efficient shower I have experienced yet. Easily accessible to the city centre by tram or a good walk (bit more than 5 minutes, but nonetheless easily walkable).

I stayed here for 4 nights in November 2012. This hotel is within 5 minutes walking distance of Wenceles Sq and the National Theatre. It can still be tricky to find, so better to get an airport pick up.
As a budget hotel, the room was basic but had everything i needed. I was very impressed with the high quality of the Wi-fi and the hotel bar!

Bed was comfortable, bathroom clean.

Things to look out for:
1) You have to pay to use the sauna/steam room - although you will get it to yourself
2) Quality of the coffee is pretty bad! It would be much better if they used the basic Nescafe packets of coffee in the room, instead of the nasty stuff they use.

Overall very good!

We have been there for a weekend. Had two breakfasts (different kind of eggs) with ham, bacon, salami, butter, cheese, jam, cereals, gugelhupf, dark and white bread, ... Tea, coffee, milk,.. And some fruitjuice.
The rooms are clean, with new bathrooms (we have been 6 people with 3 dooble rooms).
The streets are a little bit load, but the windows are really dense and keep the loadness out.
We checked in 2 hours earlier with no additional charge and had our two cars in the garage until 15:00 o clock on departureday.
We can prefer the hotel for everyone.

We have just spent 4 nights at this hotel, which we found to be be well run and thoroughly clean. How thoughtful of them to note that our friends birthday fell during our stay and present him with a small bottle of sparkling wine. Check in was a little slow as reception seem to like to give new arrivals plenty of information, great if it's your turn but not if you are tired and second in the queue, we waited around 30 minutes, which wasn't really acceptable. This situation was made worse by the fact that although the hotel itself is totally non smoking the bar area is not and that is where you have to wait. Smoke from this area did tend to drift up the stairwell, but I understand steps are being taken to remedy this problem. Food at breakfast was more than adequate, but do not expect a full English menu. The rooms were well decorated and servicing was exemplary. We tried for rooms overlooking the courtyard but failed, probably because we hadn't requested them in advance. Fifth floor rooms to the side were fine, there is some traffic noise and you will hear sirens regularly, particularly first thing in the morning, but that applies to Prague in general. Would recommend that visitors really research exactly where places they wish to visit are and work out which tram or metro route they need to take in advance. It wasn't until our final day that we finally got to grips with finding our way around. Great city and good food. Would use The Green Garden again without hesitation.

Room Tip: Ask for room overlooking courtyard when you book, not when you arrive.

We very much enjoyed the Green Garden Hotel. It is only a 10 minute walk to the main square in town and 20 minutes to the Charles Bridge. Our encounters with all staff members was wonderful because the were so friendly, helpful, knowledgable. The onsite resturant serves excelent food and is open from 7 am until about 10pm. It was important for us to have laundry service and the Green Garden provided excellent laundry service at a very reasonable price
(unlike many places we have stayed in Europe). We would most surely stay there again.
